Several heartland massage parlours have advertised that they accept Community Development Council (CDC) vouchers for dubious services

TODAY found at least 15 parlours, who had posted ads insinuating sexual services, listed as registered merchants on the CDC vouchers website

CDC said it would "not hesitate to remove" participating merchants from the scheme if they are deemed to be offering illicit services
Experts said weeding out such improper usage of CDC vouchers with extra regulations may lead to a reduced take-up

This year's iteration of the scheme saw every Singaporean household receive S$500 worth of vouchers — half allocated for spending at participating heartland shops and hawkers
