'Tell my boyfriend I want to break up'
That is what victim tells best friend in call after alleged rape

Almost immediately after she was allegedly gang-raped and sexually assaulted by a group of five young men, the 17-year-old called her good friend.
But during the phone conversation, she did not speak about what had just happened to her.
Instead, crying as she spoke, the girl asked her friend to pass a message to her boyfriend – that she wanted to break up with him.
She refused to answer any of her friend's questions and hung up after the brief chat.
Yesterday, her friend, a 17-year-old polytechnic student, took the stand.
The slim, fair and long-haired girl was giving evidence in the ongoing trial involving the five young men who allegedly raped and sexually assaulted her friend at a Woodlands flat.
The trial continues today.
