Clementi flat burgled <!--10 min-->
<!-- headline one : start --> <!-- headline one : end --> <!-- show image if available --> JEWELLERY worth $8,000 as well as $1,200 cash were stolen from a flat in Block 343 Clementi Avenue 5 last Friday after its occupants left for work. A 35-year-old woman who lives in the unit secured it before leaving for work at about 8.30am that day. Her 58-year-old mother who was out, returned home later that evening to find a cabinet and drawer in her bedroom ransacked. Her daughter returned home and discovered that the same had happened in her bedroom too. A window and aluminium grille which faced a common corridor had been tampered with and forced open.
