Wife of S'porean arrested in Indonesian drug bust says husband was in wrong place at wrong time

Was it a case of mistaken identity, or was the Singaporean simply caught up in a major marijuana bust in Tanjung Pinang, Indonesia?
On May 29, while loading a motorcycle with cement bags, Singaporean Amran Hamid, 47, was arrested by Indonesian authorities.
Within days, reports that he had been caught with 17kg of ganja in Bintan appeared in several Indonesian newspapers.
This is not Amran's first brush with the law in Tanjung Pinang.
Indonesian police said he was allegedly caught with drugs some years ago, but that case was dropped.
His Indonesian wife, Madam Imar Hamid, claimed to The New Paper that Amran was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time.
