Lee Kong Beng, an auxiliary police officer was found dead with a gunshot wound to his head int he toilet of a building in Jurong.

A 39-YEAR-OLD auxiliary police officer was found dead with a gunshot wound to his head in the toilet of a building in Jurong on Monday afternoon. Lee Kong Beng, a police constable with Aetos, did not show any sign of distress during the course of work, said a spokesman from the security company. The constable, who was married with a son, has been working with Aetos for about two years and was attached to Tuas checkpoint.
Police are investigating the death and do not suspect foul play.

SINGAPORE : An auxiliary police officer was found dead with a gunshot wound to his head in a toilet of a building along Corporation Road on Monday afternoon.

Police said his service revolver was found beside him.

The constable, who was in his late thirties, had been working with AETOS for about two years and was attached to Tuas Checkpoint.

A colleague found him at around 3.30pm in the toilet cubicle of the building.

He was pronounced dead by paramedics at about 3.40pm.

Police said the area is not accessible to the public.

No foul play is suspected.

Police investigations are on-going. - CNA/ms
