It all began when officers from Ang Mo Kio Police Division, who were conducting anti-crime rounds, checked on a 44-year-old man who was observed to be behaving suspiciously in the vicinity of Yishun housing estate on Monday at about 10.20 pm. The man was found to be in possession of cash amounting to about $2200, a handphone believed to contain debtors' records and stacks of bank transaction receipts. He was arrested.
