30-year-old man arrested for suspected molest

SINGAPORE - Police have arrested a 30-year-old man for his suspected involvement in a case of Outrage of Modesty.
On Sep 9, 2014 at about 12.20pm, a 39-year-old woman lodged a police report that she was molested at a ground floor lift lobby in the vicinity of Jurong West Street 65.
Upon receiving the information, officers from the Jurong Police Division conducted extensive ground enquires to ascertain the identity and whereabouts of the suspect.
He was eventually arrested in the vicinity of Jurong West St 71 at about 7.36pm.
The offence of Outrage of Modesty carries a jail term of up to two years, or a fine, and caning.
