3 people arrested for theft from vehicle in Woodlands

SINGAPORE: Police have arrested three people for theft from vehicle in Woodlands.
The suspects, two males and a female, are aged 22 to 25 years.
The two men were seen loitering at the heavy vehicle carpark along Woodlands Ave 9. They had driven off in a vehicle before police arrived on the scene.
But the two men and the woman were spotted along Bukit Batok East Ave 5 less than an hour later.
Police found eight heavy vehicle tyre rim covers, believed to be stolen, in the vehicle.
The two men will be charged in court on Wednesday. If found guilty, they could face a jail term of up to three years, a fine or both.
Investigations against the female suspect are ongoing.
