hmmm, it must have been the black caspian caviar which i had for lunch. expensive fish roes are super brain food. 3pm soon. suddenly thought of chee cheong fun for tea-time. and chee cheong fun ryhmes with chee soon juan but chee soon suan is not our regular chee cheong fun.

hmmmm.....

chee cheong fun is a simple low-calorie light snack. it's actually made up of rice paste, steamed and form into white thin film which is then rolled into what we called chee cheong fun.

in its simplicity form, it's bland and quite tasteless. what makes the chee cheong fun palatable are the sauce and chilli paste that go with it. dark sweet sauce and hay-bee (dried shrimps) laden chilli paste with a dash of sesame oil and topped it off with a generous splash of roasted sesame seeds are what it makes a super terrific chee cheong fun.

chee soon juan is definitely not our regular chee cheong fun. he's too bland. any garnishing or sauces would still reveal his distasteful nature of stubborness and vile evil hidden motives he hides from peasants.

our cheong cheong fun is plain. everyone can see it's white and when added in with the condiments, it's delicious and yet not too heavy as a snack.

if chee soon juan could be just like the plain chee cheong fun where peasants could see it clearly and plainly, maybe he would be a favorite with peasants. but for now, peasants must avoid him like a plague.
