This lady began life as head of contact centre (customer service) for SCB. Her constant lunch and coffee break partner was her boss and head of consumer banking. The only other person she goes out for lunch is with the Head of HR. Clearly we are looking at an ambitious but not too smart individual. A good dresser with expensive taste in clothes even in that junior role, I am not sure how she will fit the bill of an MP who cares for her ward.

By the way, her hubby has little clue what has been going on.

I find it hard that PAP can't even find appropriate talent. Maybe its time for Lim Kim San to rise from the dead and old man to stop galavanting around the world and do the selection.

It's an 'open market' now. If Tharman could be made minister despite conviction under OSA, Bernard's case falls short. It is FMH and not Bernard standing for GE. I suspect she is 'linked' to someone quite power in the PAP for them to bypass Bernard's past. Miracles do happen.

I have had the misfortune of working with this person in the bank. If you do not help her in climbing the corporate ladder, you only get to speak to the secretary.

She is decked out in Chanel suits, drives a big car, makes large bonuses by talking, what would she know about the poor and the helpless?

From 15, she has been in boarding school. A malaysian who can go overseas, clearly a priveleged life. What would she know about the heartlanders?

Did she get to be a "banker" by doing what she knows? Nope. It is about what you say, what you wear and who you talk to that makes you a big banker.

I fell off my chair when I saw her in the papers. The government has finally shown that it is all about the superficial that they are keen in. What is real and genuine is all talk!

It is the woe of Singaporeans when she is part of PAP. We have finally reached the beginning of the end.....
 
PAP seems to have this incredible ability of picking the "wrong" type of people supposedly coming from the private sector eg teo ser luck, Fool Me Huh,

Foo Mee Har is what I term a "business socialite". Turning the flashy and ostentatious trappings of a privileged background into a corporate image complete with mystique. I would say, one hell of a sexy woman. Not that bimbo kind of sexiness you find at Alcova or Butter Factory, but the real high end exclusive type.

But a politician? A POLITICIAN? Oh ... no, no.

This lady does not fit the profile of your usual socialite. This one does not socialise with anyone except people who have an impact on her immediate career.

1. will only be in politics for the money
2. think that receiving millions of dollars in pay is peanuts
3. will step on your heads as they climb
4. will kiss their bosses' asses while kicking our balls
 
There was a time that even the PAP did not allow this sort. It will interesting to see how she progresses.

1. It speaks volume of the way MPs are elected, or should I put, walk over the finish line at election. She is not there for politics
2. Singapore MPs still lead very private lives. Otherwise, she will not be bothered join politics.

Singapore way of politics have graduated now that there are people like her.
Correct me if I am wrong, LKY will fail her based on the fact that she is not a people person.
