All Singaporeans are invited to attend this discussion on the Rule of Law and good governance as opposed to the Rule of Man or Rule by Law. You can share contribute your views on how Singapore should be governed.

if singapore is a full socialist state, none of us will be typing here.

In socialism, The Rule of Law does not exist. What exist is the benefit of the society overall and any law of rule or any kind has no individual character apart from private living.

If Barisan want to really be socialist, they better show and preach actual socialist idea and not tyry to throw in something like Rule of Law as it was never part of the socialist intention.

Anyay, if any of these parties do care about Rule of Law, first thing is to respect the law and quit act against it. If you dont even respect the rule, then how can you claim to fight for Rule of law?

I don't think any of the speakers are qualified to speak on the topic they chose. Similar to having laymen speak on something concerning medicine, diseases etc.

Socialism is not the same as social security. The question in Singapore now is the adequacy of social security given the income disparity. Socialism can go to hell for all I care. Remember USSR? It stands for Union of Soviet Socialist Republics.
