It had always been the imbecilic policy of famiLEE LEEgime to BAR & BAN & DODGE & SWEPT UNDER CARPET ANY SUBJECT regarding Race & Religion. That is only because the incompetent famiLEE LEEgime is afraid to face these issues, and feel deeply insecure and completely lack confident to offer any of the necessary leadership and handle the situation as and when it is needed.

The subtle message from Ah Seng here is "We are Watching You so you better Shut Up!"

The famiLEE LEEgime Banned the discussion on these issues as they had considered them TABOO all these decades. These issues are banned at Speaker Corner; Main Stream Media; Academic as well as Cyber-Space although their control is lost in Cyber-Space. They had charged several bloggers hoping to intimidate the others to stick to their corrupted & incompetent TABOO, which corruptly compromised Singaporeans' need to express and interact as well as address these primarily important issues.

In my view, it is an unavoidable stage before the fall of BN Regime that UMNO will pull out this card of Race & Religion to be abused as a TRUMP over it opponents. This had all along throughout the past decades been THE deep fear of Old Dog Thief Lee Kuan Yew. And the present timing is EXCELLENT for the old dog as he will eventually get to see what he had been avoiding all these years, before the old dog thief's carcass gets mummified.

This UMNO TRUMP is something LKy couldn't get past, and was game he played and lost to Tunku Abdul Rahman / UMNO, this is THE fall this old bastard could not get up from.

Ah Seng is right about one thing, that is majority of people will be calm about it, and there are other facts which Ah Seng did not point out, including most politicians are not afraid to face it with the exclusive exception of PAp.

I can see that Malaysians are courageous enough to face the change and it's necessary prices. Like any other countries if the people had to go through something that they had been avoiding but they knew that the time had finally arrived, they have to bravely go through it and had it done with for once and for all.

However, for the cowardly and incompetent famiLEE LEEgime, they will pussy-foot every step all the time on everything and this is their signature style. Ah Seng had used the classical famiLEE LEEgime terms of MINEFIELD & ERUPTION & SERIOUSNESS etc to describe their own fears. As attacks are spreading in Malaysia I can not see any Malaysian politician sharing this sort of imbecilic attitude of avoidance across the causeway.

I can not recall in any speech or political statement did the famiLEE once dare used the world Allah all these years, to state their own position. You read it more than once in the following CNA how was the word Allah carefully quoted and phrased to study the attitude of famiLEE LEEgime. :-)

I urge the Netizens to exercise expressions and views, and show it to the famiLEE LEEgime, and let them MONITOR like they said. I think the Netizens are more mature than famiLEE LEEgime, even if there were a few who wants to take things to extreme, it would not affect the majority. Let assure Ah Seng that Mas Selamat is alive and well in Malaysian ISD and he can safely got to bed every night. Lets show the famiLEE LEEgime that their Taboo is stupid and silly and childish.

Malaysia church attacks 'minor aberration': PM

RIYADH — Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak said attacks on churches in his country were a "minor aberration" that did not reflect the feelings of most Malaysian Muslims, in an interview published on Sunday.
"This is a minor aberration. National unity and mutual respect between various racial and religious communities in Malaysia has been a cornerstone of Malaysia for a long time," he said in the interview with Okaz newspaper and published in its English-language sister, the Saudi Gazette.
"It should not be seen as a widespread attempt by the larger Muslim community to attack churches in Malaysia," he said.
Several churches in predominantly Muslim Malaysia have been attacked after a court ruled on December 31 that non-Muslims could use "Allah" as a translation for "God."
Nine churches were hit with Molotov cocktails, splashed with black paint and had windows smashed with stones, triggering tighter security at places of worship nationwide.
The offices of lawyers for Malaysia's Roman Catholic Church were also burgled and ransacked.
Najib downplayed the attacks.
"I would like to clarify that only one church was burnt and only its administrative portion was set ablaze," he told the Saudi newspaper.
"The others were minor incidents, which do not really constitute burning at all. And in some cases various objects were reportedly thrown into the compounds of some churches."
Najib also questioned a US travel advisory for Malaysia that warned of possible attacks on foreigners.
"I am quite surprised they came up with the travel advisory. We have no credible information regarding the perceived threat," he said.
On Friday, the US State Department issued a travel alert advising Americans to "consider the risks associated with travel to eastern Sabah in Malaysia due to the threat from both terrorist and criminal groups."
Najib was speaking while on a short trip to Saudi Arabia, where he met King Abdullah and other top officials and visited educational institutions.

Is is deliberate or coincidental that Najib had to talk about this from Riyadh and while visiting King Abdullah? So is he going to Vatican to meet the Pope at his next stop?

RECENT tensions in Malaysia underscore the need not to take racial and religious harmony for granted, Deputy Prime Minister and Home Affairs Minister Wong Kan Seng said on Sunday.
The government is 'watching the situation very closely', he said, stressing that Singaporeans, while concerned, must continue to be calm and composed in their reactions.
'It is understandable for Singaporeans to be concerned about this development in our neighbouring country but our people have reacted with calm and composure. We must continue to do so,' he said.
Mr Wong's remarks are the first from a Singapore leader on inter-religious tension in Malaysia in the wake of a High Court ruling that allowed a Catholic newspaper to use the word 'Allah' to refer to God.
DPM Wong, who is an MP for Bishan-Toa Payoh GRC, spoke during his constituency's bursary presentation ceremony cum family carnival at Raffles Institution. A total of $127,000 from the Citizens' Consultative Committee of the GRC was presented to 619 students from the constituency.
In his speech, Mr Wong also stressed the need for Singaporeans to stay united and cohesive, for only by doing so would the country be able to tackle its problems effectively and build a good foundation for peace and continued growth.

I doubt the intelligence gathered. They always give a wide variation to cover themselves and overkill planning. Their intelligence is always not specific and general in nature. WKS is not the best person to lead the home team and i would say his knowledge of law and policies is not the best too. Ask those who are working in the ministries under him and you would know what i mean.

Another thing is he is quite a 'Kan Cheong' spider and always jump the gun resulting in lots of false starts which ended up in precious resources (time/money/manpower) loss

He always try to look busy and act professional. Want all reports to him in less than 1 page. Imagine those scholars working under him trying to summarise those contents heavy reports in less than a page....now you know why his reports/facts are always inaccurate or incomplete. This is a reason why this is happening. If he has not enough time to go through all reports, then jolly well quite some of the ECAs he is taking up and focus on what he is paid to do.

"We are always in touch to make sure that for any issue that seems to be raceor religion-related, we get to the root of the problem straightaway, not allowing it to worsen and become a bigger issue."
More effort has to be put in, as more immigrants of different backgrounds are coming here, he noted.
"We have to have a care and make sure that those who come here to make a living or to make a home ought to understand the local context, and not allow whatever that happened in their own home countries affect what happens in Singapore," he said.
But despite this growing diversity, and a recent move to let children of mixed-race marriages come under double-barrelled race categories, racial self-help groups still have an important role to play, he said.
This is because community leaders better understand the deeper issues facing the community, Mr Wong said.
