Watch Taiwan TODAY! mass Protest Procession & Sit-In

It will be in both Taipei & Kaohsiung simultaneously and estimated protester crowd size minimum 300,000 maximum 800,000. The Taipei portion will march on 4 routes to meet in front of Presidential Istana. Large slogan banner is before Istana on the news photo now (from last night), with laser projection on Istana building's front with figures and slogans of protest.

The event is very educational to Singaporean people as well as famiLEE LEEgime.

〔記者李欣芳、侯承旭／台北、高雄連線報導〕民進黨、本土社團在馬英九就任總統一週年前夕，分別發動的五一七嗆馬保台大遊行，今天下午二時起台北、高雄同步登場。民進黨主辦以「反傾中、護台灣」為主訴求的台北場，晚間十時起，並將在凱達格蘭大道進行連續二十四小時跨夜靜坐；本土社團主辦的高雄場，晚會將透過視訊與台北連線，遊行結束後，不少人將北上會合，並加入跨夜靜坐。

李登輝批簽ECFA 台灣大浩劫

民進黨中央昨估計，基層民眾反應熱烈，這次參與台北遊行人數，可望達到去年一○二五大遊行規模，也就是六十萬人嗆馬；以「反傾中、反賣台、救主權、救台灣」為主訴求的高雄場主辦單位估計，可望上看二十萬人參與。

這場南北連線嗆馬大遊行，民進黨主席蔡英文將與呂、蘇、游、謝率民眾遊行，並與黨公職及民眾跨夜靜坐，前總統李登輝昨也發表聲明呼應，痛批馬政府一年來策略全盤錯誤，讓台灣失去方向，大開民主倒車，執意簽署ＥＣＦＡ，將為台灣帶來不可逆轉的浩劫。

蔡英文昨表示，今天的遊行是對一年來馬政府執政，對台灣造成的永久性傷害，希望馬總統傾聽民意，懸崖勒馬；她期盼五一七大遊行及凱道跨夜靜坐產生震撼效果。

遊行靜坐接力跨夜不喊停

蔡英文也將砲口對準馬英九，質疑馬對集會遊行法修法的思考是搞錯方向，因問題在警察裁量權擴大，使集遊權的意義不復存在，而不在行政處罰的罰鍰多寡，總統老是把重要的方向搞錯了！

蔡英文在民進黨中央召開行前記者會，提醒警方說，警方執法是為輔助人民集會遊行與言論自由的表達，警方心態應是協助而非對抗，不希望今天因警方過度反應而造成衝突，警方別太緊張！

台北場大遊行今天下午二時分成頂好廣場（領軍：呂秀蓮）、台灣大學（蔡英文）、萬華車站（蘇貞昌）、中山足球場（謝長廷）四個地點四大隊集結，三時出發，四路人馬會師凱道後，五時舉行嗆馬保台晚會，晚間十時起在凱道舉行二十四小時的跨夜靜坐。

四天王挺小英凱道不缺席

本土社團主辦的高雄場，遊行同樣兵分四路，最後在中央公園大會師，晚上六時至十時舉行晚會，前黨主席游錫堃與高雄市長陳菊將在高雄參與遊行後北上會師。

蔡英文昨並接受電視台專訪，質疑馬政府的傾中政策，並抨擊執政黨沒能力處理好經濟問題。她表示，馬總統說沒有接受中國的一中原則，其實這很難令人信服，被詢及馬英九強調，民進黨五一七當天如赴總統府陳情，總統府將派人接待，蔡英文不悅地說，這太藐視在野黨了！至於在野黨要如何不被藐視？蔡英文說：「我們就走著瞧吧！」

蔡英文表示，她不擔心這次五一七大遊行變成挺扁活動，對於基層不斷要求小英要硬起來，蔡英文說，或許她與歷任黨主席做事的方法不同，但這並不表示她不夠硬，她是該軟就軟、該硬就硬，重點是以什麼樣的態度達到最好的效果。

times already so bad,still do these type of things.
if he is here,the cases would have been settled and closed long long time.

Taiwanese political confronters are very brave, and prepared to be beaten by hundreds of thousands alone to provoke politically. Singaporeans got no balls - other than 1 MSK, limping but got balls and brains, and can really swim.

This guy won anti-陳水扁 protest slogans and bashed alone into probably half million DPP provoking to be beaten. He got bashed all the way by hostile crowd and not afraid at all. Singapore can never get one of this RAMBO.

民進黨517大遊行，出現一名面具男，他頭戴寫著打倒陳水扁的面具跑到凱道，引起民進黨支持者相當不滿，引起激烈肢體衝突。

叉著腰，這名黑衣男子臉上帶著面具，上頭寫著打倒陳水扁，單槍匹馬闖進凱道，但是他的踢館遭到民進黨支持者的圍攻叫罵。

有人戴著面具反嗆，有人趁著混亂偷襲，只看到面具男一路挨打。

被打到後來，連面具都被打掉了，幸好在現場警衛的保護下，面具男安然脫困，沒有釀成更大糾紛。（新聞來源：東森新聞）

嗆馬大遊行，人都還沒齊，凱達格蘭大道，就已經爆發2波衝突，先是有一名男子戴著倒扁面具挑釁，遭到民眾追打；又有民眾不滿警方蒐證，氣得當面向警方嗆聲，破口大罵。

嗆馬凱道大會師，人都還沒到齊，就先開打；導火線，就是男子臉上的紙面具寫著「打倒陳水扁，鬥爭民進黨」，挑起遊行民眾怒火，一旁民眾先是拿海報上前嗆聲，旁邊的有人幫忙叫囂，突然黑衣男子冷不防，動手動腳。遊行民眾：「你是誰？」嗆聲男子：「時候還沒有到！」

男子被推倒在地，民進黨糾察隊趕快勸架，卻還是擋不住民眾火氣，黃衣男子出手，領巾阿伯再補上一拳，一旁的帽子先生也沒放過，後面民眾趁亂出手，還有人幫忙擋鏡頭。嗆聲男子：「因為台灣沒有是非黑白，所以我一定要站出來！」

警方調查，男子是緬甸籍人士，包包裡有石塊和木棍，民眾指控男子先動手，才會惹麻煩；只是沒動手的警方，也成了民眾標靶。嗆聲男子：「你現在跟我變臉嘛，你叫他不要照我，叫他後面都不要照我。」

氣到連帽子都掉了，破口大罵，就不希望自己出現在蒐證影帶，接連2起衝突，已經讓嗆馬遊行，火藥味十足！

民進黨發動517大遊行，由於遊覽車一車難租，屏東縣市支持者部分，今(17)天一早由立委潘孟安包下台鐵整列列車15節車廂，率領「八百壯士」北上，預定在下午2時30分抵達台北，潘孟安表示，總算是化解動員困難，不辱使命。

民進黨中央下令黨公職人員動員令，潘孟安說，遊覽車租不到的情形十分普遍，而且也不斷哄抬價格，加上國民黨方面也搶租，因此他特別出面與台鐵協調，包下15節車廂，讓鐵路沿線的屏東縣市鄉親可以搭乘上台北參加遊行。

此外，他也指出，對於那些沒有鐵路經過的鄉鎮，民進黨也租到20餘輛遊覽車，一路接鄉親上車，如此一來，至少動員經費高達百餘萬元。

針對馬政府執政一週年提出總批判，綠營「嗆馬保台大遊行」今（17）日下午在台北、高雄同步登場。這次行動訴求是「保台灣、顧主權、救失業、護弱勢」，台北場四大遊行路線將在下午5點會師凱道嗆馬，並計畫在遊行結束後，加碼24小時靜坐，在民進黨幾乎是全黨總動員的情形下，517活動估計至少有20到30萬人參加。

民進黨主辦的台北場，由前副總統呂秀蓮(第一大隊)與前行政院長謝長廷(第二大隊)、蔡英文(第三大隊)、蘇貞昌(第四大隊)分別帶隊，遊行前往凱達格蘭大道大會師。

而由本土社團所主辦的高雄場，同樣也將兵分四路，遊行至中央公園會師。前民進黨黨主席游錫堃、高雄市長陳菊兩人，則將在參與高雄遊行之後，北上與黨中央主辦的台北場，進行會師。

517嗆馬保台大遊行，預定在今天下午2點集合、3點出發，5點凱道集結。台北場遊行隊伍區分4條路線，第1條路線是從忠孝東路四段頂好廣場前到凱達格蘭大道，第2條路線是從玉門街中山足球場旁經中山南路再到凱達格蘭大道，第3條路線是從新生南路台灣大學大門前到凱達格蘭大道，第4條路線是從萬華火車站前到凱達格蘭大道。

而蔡英文、呂秀蓮、蘇貞昌、謝長廷、台聯主席黃昆輝、游錫堃等人也將陸續致詞，現場並穿插各項表演活動。晚間10點起，隨後展開24小時守夜靜坐活動。

為了營造大團結氣勢，不僅民進黨的黨公職全體動員，民進黨的7位縣市首長規劃要全體北上遊行，黨籍27位立委部份，每人至少負責8輛遊覽車、7位縣市長每人募集20輛、黨部出動5輛、縣市議員每人也要動員2輛，預估至少20萬到30萬人前來嗆馬。

If this report isn't false, the turn out is only @ 10% of the max expected 800,000. The Taiwanese mata said more like only 80,000 turned up.

However, the organizers DPP claimed 600,000 turned up.

民進黨發動的517嗆馬保台大遊行下午出發，台北的4大路線在5時30分抵達終點站凱達格蘭大道，主持人徐佳青宣佈遊行全台遊行人數已經超過60萬人。徐佳青宣布，「我們現場的聲音是60萬人的聲音，台灣加油！」一聽到60萬這個數字，綠營可是high翻了，因為有這麼多人站出來嗆馬。

黨主席蔡英文表示，今天有數十萬人參加遊行，已超過去年1025的人數，這是成功的遊行，大家表現出台灣勇敢的精神，因為大家心理都有很深的不滿與要向馬英九嗆聲。

民進黨立委蔡煌瑯則說，「4個大隊大概有30萬人，陸陸續續自動自發加入，預估今天高潮的時候會達到50萬人，(記者：晚上過夜情況會怎樣？)晚上應該會有超過3萬人在這裡過夜。」

從徐佳青、蔡煌瑯的談話可發現，遊行人數綠營人士越說越保守，從60萬一直往下修，台北市長郝龍斌更是直接吐槽。郝龍斌說，「因為他有4條路線，據我瞭解，每個路線，大概1萬多人。」

一條路線一萬多人，4條路線怎麼加也不到60萬啊！到底實際人數怎麼算？事實上，警方計算遊行人數，會先在置高點往下拍攝，取得畫面後，以面積為單位，如果 1平方公尺以3個民眾來計算，乘以集會路線的總面積後，警方初估，517大遊行的總人數約有7萬5000到8萬人，和主辦單位自己估計的人數，真的是有不小的落差。(新聞來源：東森新聞記

I don't support this Green Camp SEPARATISM Campaign.

But I can support any party that voice up against Baning Procession & Assembly. The Taiwanese law already slackened the Procession & Assembly laws recently, only that they had at the same time increased the power of mata to control procession & assembly.

Their new law says No Permit Application Is Required for assemblies and processions, any where in Taiwan, only Registration is required, (entire Taiwan is a giant Speakers' Corner). But then the $$$FINES$$$ increased for Assemblies and Processions which mata having more powers to Red Tape & Summon the activities, and order dispersal and limit your time schedule etc.

E.g. This current over-night assembly in front of 马英九 Istana is NOT ALLOWED, and in violation of Registration Rules. So mata is allowed to open heavy $$$FINES$$$ tickets against DPP, order dispersal and arrest etc.

The DPP is deliberately violating this one to challenge 马英九 right now.

I don't think they will be taking it any much further. They can make a point to highlight this, but should not over-stretch it. In their previous major protest during PRC Envoy's visit serious violent broke out.

As it is, nither DPP nor KMT is too right nor wrong regarding their Assembly & Procesion laws, they both have valid points to get accross. However that Separatism & Support 阿扁 part I will oppose. Fuck that greedy 阿扁, he made his family too rich and his DPP party did not benefit much financially from his self-fattening acts. After enriching his wife and son and daughter in-law, via elected under DPP, he want now to leave the financially weak DPP, to form his own FILTHY RICH New party to persue Separatism Cause.

DPP let 紅衫軍of 施明德 staged huge massive protest and processions all over entire Taiwan without arrest. And court also acquitted all of them.

施明德 was only short of dashing into Presidential Istana to capture 陈水扁 . I met him after that incident and learned lots of thing from him.
