that's the rot paps are good in. just take a look at cigarette tax and their compulsory cancer prints on the cigarette boxes. responsible smoking?
it's the MONEY that counts. the rest are all just fake and lame excuses to hide their avaricious and insatiable greed. they can ban smoking if they seriously care about our health. but considering the amount of tax (and any other future increment they can add) the hypocrites gov won't wanna to really ban it.
next look at chewing gums. negligible tax revenue, so fully banned. and if u believe their motive of INCREASING GST TO HELP THE POOR, then sgp gov's pure hypocrisy has worked very well and effective :(
