I've got to say this is BAD. There was a MK GRC poster at Makepeace Road that was taken down only sometime between 7 and 9 June, I thought that was bad.

I don't want to offer direct help to 阿亮， I hope all opposition parties do the same. This way we maintain 阿亮 as more independent candidate for president. He has no direct oppo affiliation. I will make some move soon, it is a timing concern.

famiLEE LEEgime already went ahead to endorse Tony Tan, that way they already screwed Tonay's vote. Opposition should HELP them further to Screw Tony Tan's vote.

There will be a magical effect in this election that NONE of the presidential candidate is opposition. And people got really nothing TO LOSE as a result, and had already been systematically sidelined by famiLEE LEEgime since the very beginning.

So aim for the protest vote.

This whole PE is a protest vote war. Provided we don't make 阿亮 into an opposition candidate.:wink:

Ok. Have not been using Linux for many years, used to be in LUGS forums in the past , looks like it is almost dead. I am still wearing an old faded Linux T shirt from the Suntec Exhibition at home and the last Linux distro was Caldera 3.0, still have the manual & discs.

What is the best distro at the moment? have some time on hand, will convert my ASUS W7S notebook to a full Linux Machine, without WINDOWS, any suggestions on how...really out of touch for a long time.

Just basically with different desktop environments Gnome Konqueror XFCE etc.

Gnome is simple - but not Gnome 3 - starting to do too much Kay-Poh already
KDE is sophisticated feature filled, far too Kay-Poh, but closer to MS familiar users
XFCE is super simple straight forward, but my XFCE foot print is found larger than Gnome's

If you want very simple and small then use FC15 = fedora project.

One thing good that NTU NUS & EZ-network solution etc people setup xxbuntu's mirrors in SG. That makes things fast and time saving for us users, online download / update, all effective and reliable.

I may consider to start Linux online community in SG. :wink:
