Hi all,

does anyone play baccart in Leisure World ?

Do you know how the insurance works ?

Is it every round can buy insurance ?

Insurance must be same or lower than initial bet ?

Thanks all

As long as your cards have a higher score other than naturals,

5 points- 1 pay 2
6 points- 1 pay 3
7 points- 1 pay 4
8 points- 1 pay 7
9 points - 1 pay 8 tie pay.

Hope it helps!!!

I don't think is worthwhile to stake insurance higher than your initial wager. Unless you can foresee that the insurance card helps you win.

In LW, I only play insurance for 6 and 7 points only, to at least protect my 1/2 bet. The rest I don't bother.

Applies both sides, can buy insurance for the side you are betting on.

As for amount, depends on casino.

When I was playing at LW, I think they allow up to your full bet amount. But for local IRs, they only allow you to buy on insurance payout equal to your bet.

Meaning for example when 1 pay 4 and your initial bet is 100, can only buy up to 25.

Like tat LW more fun, cos insurance when hit u might end up more den ur initial bet. But for local IRs, not much fun, is really consider as "Insurance" as the max payout for insurance is the same as your bet.

Hi sfhdwed bro,

I was at LW over the wkend, and the baccart insurance i can buy only half of my initial bet. Same amt as my initial bet was not allowed. Could you confirm that they allow u to bet full amt for insurance ?

Thanks bro

Up for my question

No hard or fast rule abt this.

Few years back in LW, I was allowed to bet 100 for a "1 pays 4" insurance on a 200 initial bet.

It's depends by the house, your initial bet and insurance payout. For example your initial bet is 200, insurance payout "1 pays 4", usually they let your bet max up to 60.

So how's the situation in LW lately? Have not been there since march. Any significant changes? I know those private si kee pi dealers all disbanded liao, one drives a cab, one working as a dealer in SANDS.

Hi Bro,

Si Kee Pi table i not too sure as i only play baccart in LW, i only start going there aft long jie closed down, so dunno any significant changes anot.

For baccart table, they only allow half betting for insurance of our initial bet, regardless of the insurance payout.
