Initial look of the Phoenix was interesting. The game console was very modern. The button was touch pad. The screen was bright and nice. Similar to IGT and Aruze, it allows stop spin. So being impatient, I just keep pressing until feature comes (BR burns very fast). The big minus is that the feature game only offers 2 free games with Column 2 and 4 being Wild. I hit a few features but no full house due to column 5.

I have tried 4 times and donated about 4k to those new Bally machines, enough donation and goodbye. There are about 20 to 30 Bally machines at PS area and ID area, not sure elsewhere. I think the only Bally game that can survive till date is Quick Hit.

i tried the pheonix. kind of sucks with just 2 free spin only...payout also little.

anyone tried playing those machines with the dophins and tigers games before. always forget the name of the slots. kind of like it when reel 2, 3 & 4 has the stacked wilds of dophins and tigers...

Not sure if you are referring to IGT Whale Song? The theme is base on dolphins yet the game is call whale song.
The free spin trigger when 3 whale tails stuck on reel 2,3,4.
The game has progressive prizes too.
I played the game when I was with MBS and tried once or twice at RWS, never have a good payout from the game.

Anyway, I never like Bally games, the only Bally game I played once a while is the classic fruit machine. Bally Quick, hot shot and playboys are the major games that keep them "survive" until today. I see quite a number of players at Quick hit area but how many of them know they need to bet max in order to win the progressive?

For past time games, there are many more BETTER choices than playing Bally Ole and phoenix. Personally think IGT game are good to kill time with min bet, however just avoid those IGT high5 games, those games totally sucks. High5 has it's uniquity, you get to see lots of stack symbols on every reel and the pay table is unbelievable low. Even AngMo players also cannot tarhan, it is a big shame that a full SCREEN Aces pays only 800 credits.

That's the ainworth (spelling?). There are many of these in PS area. 2c. Can't be very rewarding at times. Only play occasaaionally.

Today, I blew it twice. I had my chances 2 times. But I didn't know when to stop. Shit.

I went Orchid. The 2 5c 5k and 5D were unoccupied. But this time, not so good compared to yestd. The 2c 5k next to my 2 machines was very good. a lady was playing and features non stop. Decided to move over to PS. Started with a 5K. Many features but So so payout. lost.

Moved to 5D. This one was star. My first feature on 450cr hit Fish FHX8. I could just stopped here and go home. But I continued and burned all my BR trying to get the next feature. Lost.

Moved over to another 5d. This one sucked big time. All the features are <10k cr on max bet. Lost.

Moved to another 5d next to the last one. This one hit fish FH x5 on max and ang bao FHx8. I was back in the black again. Again, I was greedy. I wanted more feature, I wanted retrigger, I wanted more............... Well, it was not to be. I blew $ 2k before I hit the next feature which gave me only $300. Fainted. Silly me. Aggrh.
