Thanks bro kia. Anyway, LW also has king kong cash, if u r interested. Paument is not bad, i always play 150credits, like what u say, when the mystery J comes, the excitement is there. At least minor J is achieveable. But not much fans ley???

The pink panther also has a quite standard payment, i mean not so bad after a certain time, it will payback.

Anyway, last nite went to LW again. Not many people. Most of thrm go for table games. Then i just wonder around. With $350 start with 100 lions, goes up to $600. Thought try another machine 888, goes back to $350. Then try the choe sen ye... Nice run got 5 fishes + ah pek x 10. Goes up to $1200. Take abreak then try indian dreaming goes up to $1350, try the 5koi(this machine eat alot of my $$$ last time). Hit good run, 5green flowers + fish x 10. Goes up to $2400. I was thinking to stop liao. Then my mind said since having a good luck might as well continue. Then back to another machine of 888, nice game again, open all dices goes up $3500. Try anothe 50 dragons goes up again to $4050. Here i stop.
Go back to roulette and lose $1k.
Mood was turned bad, sleepy. Back to room and have a good massage*. end of game 2am. Back to land at $6am boat.

I guess mood play the most important role. Ones has to be really relax and alert and consistent. I mean if i think about how i lost last time, most of it is because keep jump hit and so impatient
Well, hopefully everyweek i got this kind of run...1k-1.5k more a week is better than loses
    To all bros, huat ahhh!!!

Unfortunately, LW doesn't make port to Harbourfront.
I have heard many stories about LW, wanted to go so much but I can't take "small boat", ferry I mean, so what to do, just continue to listen to fellow gamers talk about LW

I think they do port at HF every couple weeks or so to replenish supplies. You can board direct but back still ferry.

But you didn't miss much, old cruise ship and condition pretty bad. I think Star Virgo more better.

This FRI 13th supposed to be a LUCKY one instead - a three lucky Dragon one ?????
Co-incidentally also the 1st of my 2 free room nights at MBS for April
Checked-in before 3pm - got Sea View Premier Room on 8th Floor Tower 2
Nowadays if want City View Room - need to pay $50 - what for ?
If want Club Room - need to top up another over $200+++ - maybe only for Special Occasions
My friend said - STILL got FREE Room even tho' inactive since last CNY Casino visit in Jan - last MBS Trip was for complimentary Wakin Chau concert in March and I didn't even go into casino then - don't complain and ask for better/higher-floor etc room MAI HIAM .....
[Btw - just read email on complimentary Sun 29/4 Mediacorp thingy - waiting for friend to say whether she keen or not before calling to claim]

I only started after paying Single Trip Levy just before 5pm (with brief dinner break from 7.30pm at Food Court with friend) - for the whole of Fri night AND Sat till about 6am+ - ONLY played 2 types slots - the Silver&Gold/Diamonds&Roses slots and the Wheel of Fortune WOF slots at smoking B1

    My capital was $1,100 - divided into $400 + $350 + $350 stacks
Told myself to be VERY disciplined
Slowly and steadily - with usual Ups & Downs - managed to grow my 1st $400 stack to over $600 ticket
Then started on 2nd $350 stack etc etc etc
Shifted over to WOF Slots from 10-11pm AND stayed glued there until after 6am Sat [with bladder uncomfortably full & feet/body all cramped & right wrist painful from the hard pressing ]
    Before 12 midnite - got 2 $100+ GREEN Wins and my 1st of 3 $500+ REDs
That night managed to win more than 7-9x GREEN and 3x RED
Combined my ticket and printed out over $1,600 ticket - so profits $500-100 levy = $400++

Went to cashier to change the 100s into $50 bills etc ....
Kept $1,200 aside & SMSed friend to have dimsum b/f at Jin Shan later (she changed to brunch /after checkout instead)
Still have remaining balance capital + profits
    - that's when I went crazy/blur - SHOULD have gone back to room to SLEEP but Idiot Me seeing that 5K 722 slot {these slots have been moved over to RHS of Silver&Gold slots nearer to Entrance Wall} was Finally Free/Unoccupied, so sat and played BUT 722 now no longer 'good' - no matter how I played the winnings only STAYED at $100-200 level and NOT more
Got fed-up and moved over behind - chose WRONG Crown of Egypt COE Slot
Stupid end slot refused to give any Bonus Games even tho'I dumped several hundreds into it
The Silver&Gold slots and WOF on Sat AM also no longer 'good'
So wondered here & there - tried a couple of the CashExpress slots etc - not good (as expected)
By this time , already dipping into my retained $1,200 sum
Managed to recoup a couple of last-minute $100 back from Kia's fav 5D (5c) and my fav 2c 5K near Fatt Choi Area
End Result : LOSS - of at least half original capital [my own stupid fault !!!!!]

Ah well - since I targetted only certain slots and these 2 slots happened to be 'quite good as still paying more than what they take in' - had FUN while still growing capital SLOWLY
IF ONLY I didn't go 'crazy' from 6.30 am and went on Crazy While Spree losing my profits etc ..... I know what to do next Fri 20/4 when I do 2nd-free room checkin - MUST MUST MUST stick with my original Disciplined Play Plan

Next Fri I'll also be meeting up with several old friends for tea - probably at TWG
After my next Sat checkout - will be going for my spa facial & massage
Life is short - must enjoy as much as possible

Sighzzz .... still can't convince friend to go with me for low-season Virgo Cruise using RWS Gps

Hi jjcc88, nice to see you back and your disciplined game time.
I did not take up the hotel stays offer by MBS coz my interest with MBS machines have lessen greatly.
I prefer RWS, althought I didn't make any winning since since I renewed my levy last dec, but I am still comfortable with their machines.
Last evening, I walked by machine 1230, the 5cts 5K machine along the main walkway leading to the stage, the screen displayed a feature spin winning of 388,000cr+ ($19,400+) max bet 450cr of course. I think the player hit FH CAI x30. Just another proof that RWS machines posssible pay. I have also hit a few times cai, fu, lu or fish x30 in RWS but only once at MBS with miserable 15cr bet.

Last evening at RWS, someone at CE hit 5 Trains. I thought sure kena minimal a Major. Alamak, he only got enough points to get a $400 minor. What a hard luck!

In comparison, I have a paler performance in another turnout earlier. I hit 4 trains and the last one I got 4 points only. In the end, I only got enough points to hit a $300 minor! Sigh.

    Cheers and good luck.

    Rotten Luck from 2 - 19 April.
No win trip, no breakeven trip but only lost trips.
I must make a little changes on my game choices, don't always stick to 5k,5d,fk, csy, should keep Quick Hits and Hot Shot in my playlist, probably AVP too which i haven't touch them for more than a year!

    bro KKC..
(just my thoughts..if you are at Sentosa) and if you wish to try other games..

since you got a bigger bankroll..i suggest you try "azure rescue spins" but must have patience and willing to risk..

i think you try the "shen long" better than the others (rescue spins game)

shen long payout..is rather consistent and if big bets..
can cover some cost (with the wilds) even if not on the free games features..

    now..i suggest..
(be like a vulture..stay and see other plays first..) then scoops in when they left ..(haha)

you must look out for those already played with "higher multiplier" or/and has about 350 spins or below to go.. (by others)

then you try and start/continue with min bets (50 credits..) from 350 to maybe if
still no free games with about 200 left.. (double credits or triple - up stakes !)

as you play and the if free games' features still does not appear..
with less than 100 to 150 spins to go..(go up 5 times)

i suggest to up the bets limits to higher amount..
as you approached zero..("max bets" with less than 20 spins to go)

if free games comes in before it reaches zero..(where the rescue spins set in)
you are still on "high bets stakes" and payout is still substantial..as compare to min. bets stakes

if you really go down to zero..and "rescue spins" set in..
i am sure, the payout should be able to cover the initial bankroll..? (as your multiplier is higher !)

if it doesn't pay well..after the rescue spins set in..(with the multiplier )

then go for another 50 to 100 spins..(restart with min. bets) (if you still got budgets)
the jackpot and free games..will most probably comes..within the first 100 spins ..

take note..you must have "time and bankroll" to cover the entire 500 games..if you should start
or else..do not play this machine/game

of course... you need to pick at least "40-60" wilds when the free features appear (and lotsa luck!)

    have fun and goodluck ..!!

Aruze is tempting with the rescue spin. But a high multiplier does not guarantee a good free spin. I have been bitten many times before. I have played all the way to rescue spin and gotten lousy payout that is not enough to cover the max bet $20 to the free spin. The rescue spin counter locks you in to play until free spin....that is the killer. Of course I have ever gotten good payout before too. But I normally try to avoid playing Aruze because I don't want to put myself in a situation of dumping my bankroll on one machine.

Btw, bro Kia, I find that the few aristocrat games at Premium slots seems to be misbehaving. It's either no free games or no payment during free games. Not sure if you feel the same.

Island delight also sucks. All the 5k, FK eat up every fast. This is especially when I bet high and recklessly on these 2c games. The only consistent place is Gold Rush. But my only quip about this place is having to contribute to the JP pool only to be won by someone else - which usually go to a mid to high bet. Emm.

    Cheers and good luck.

    well..
in Malaysia Genting..there's a couple of "vultures"
always sitting there..and waiting to pounce upon the Azure "rescue spins.."
when the time and opportunity arises..!

they will just put in the money.. and "press very quickly" till the free games appears
because they know..they have a good chance of "making money"..

i been there a few times..and see them in actions in most of the visit there
(to them..these are like "full time job"..)

    Bro mindless..
..that's why , i said..if after the lousy payout..(if you should get it)
continue if you can,,as the next payout will be "substantial" (that's the way i observe)

i think.. the International Room upstairs games (esp the Aristocrats machines) pays better and more consistent ?
used to see some big winners with big bets there..(maybe i am wrong..?)

    goodluck!

    Another lost weekend trip.
To be very frank, I don't like to play Aruze rescue spins, firstly, as you said, when you are playing, there are people "bioing" your machine, I really don't like people see me playing, very irritating. Secondly, an impatient person like me will not let the reels spin automactically if I can stop them, so, I can spin as much as 60spins/min so you can imagine how fast I burn my br. Thirdly, the game has never let me win, not even once.

Back to my weekend trip, I tried many different games and I did get something from machines Kitty Glitter, Serbian Storms, Diamond fruit machine and AVP. I even won the mystery JP from gold rush 3.2k but overall I still lost because I feed them into my favourite 5cts 5k machines at penny slot and premium slot area.

Many of us who go Genting know the two casinos inside out. Most of us are however quite clueless about the the other attractions at Genting which make it a really fun and cheap place to bring your family for a vacation. The following excellent FR describes what you can do.

WARNING This is 100% child friendly and has nothing in it about gambling.

If you follow the link below, you can see lots of nice pics. For those who are interested in getting a Maxims suite to treat your family, it is only 100GP for off peak days. That's about only 50 points if you are using RWS points.

    http://www.ladyironchef.com/2012/04/...-travel-guide/

I had the chance to visit Resorts World Genting – the most popular tourist destination in Malaysia – and it was an eye opening experience as I learned many new things about Genting that I never knew before.

I thoroughly enjoyed the trip because I went with Beatrice and Selene, who are great travelling companions. But most importantly, I felt like I was visiting my second home – Genting would always hold a special place in my heart because my family goes there every year for a getaway.

I remember the first time I was in Genting, and how everything felt so magical; the first time that I fell down because I was too excited at the outdoor theme park; the first time I took the cable car up to the mountain resort; the first ice cream that I ate in the cool weather – all the first time experiences that I had in Genting.

For many people, Genting is about the exciting rides at the magical outdoor theme park; the cold and nice weather; and the gaming and entertainment in the casino. It was the same for me, until I spent a weekend there with the girls. We discovered that Genting has a lot more to offer. So here’s my Guide on Things to do in Genting Highlands.
We are also giving away a 3D2N stay at Maxims Genting, details are at the end of the post. Good luck you guys!

Before you read the rest of my post, here’s a video trailer that Beatrice did for our adventure in Genting.

    Genting, here we come!

We were starving after a five hours journey on the luxurious Transtar First Class Coach, and our first stop in Genting was Imperial Rama Restaurant (Level 2 Highlands Hotel, Tel: +603 6101 1118). For those who always go to Genting, I’m sure you are familiar with Imperial Rama Restaurant – one of the fine dining restaurants in Genting that specialises in authentic Thai-Chinese cuisine.

The chef arranged a 8 course meal for us and we had Mushroom with Truffle Oil and Vegtable Salad; Thai Crispy Fish Paste Cracker; Shark’s Fin Bone Soup; Steamed Marble Goby Fish; Wasabi and Salted Egg Yolk Prawns; Abalone with Black Truffle; Green Curry Chicken Served with Fried Rice; and Durian Tempura with Soursop.
Beatrice went crazy when the Mushroom Salad with Truffle Oil arrived (she’s a fan of anything-truffle), while Selene thoroughly enjoyed her Durian Tempura. With yummy food and good company, our Genting adventure was off to a great start!

After a scrumptious lunch, we went on a tour of the Maxims Hotel. Our host showed us all the different rooms in Maxims Genting, and guess what? We went to the Penthouse too!

“Wow! Thank you Genting for letting us stay in the Penthouse!” I said when we entered the apartment, which has five rooms, a fully equipped kitchen, gym, and a huge living room. Unfortunately, that trick didn’t work. But it wasn’t too bad as we got a very nice room for our 3D2N stay.

At the helipad where we got a bird’s eye view of the entire Genting.

The good people at Genting upgraded us to a suite and all we wanted to do was to stay in the hotel and enjoy all the facilities.

We stayed in the room until dinner. Beatrice and I were “working” on our blogs, while Selene was checking orders from her online shop Klarra.

After finishing our social media duties, it took us quite a while to prepare as we were going for a fine dining dinner at The Olive. Here’s a picture of Beatrice and Selene all dressed up! Heh.

The Olive – Genting’s fine dining Western restaurant – is definitely the place to go if you want a romantic dinner with your date. I was really looking forward to it because QiuQiu told me that she had a fantastic dinner there when she visited Genting last year.

On the menu, there’s a good selection of starters, main courses, and some delicious desserts to choose from. Luckily for us, we didn’t have to make the tough decision as our host ordered the signature items. Among the dishes that we tried at The Olive (Lobby Flour, Maxims Genting Tel: +603 6101 1118 Ext 59668), the highlights were the Mushroom Salad with Truffle, Steak, and Rack of Lamb.

When we were at The Olive for dinner, there was a special Whisky tasting event at the restaurant’s lounge. We were lucky to be there at the right time as we got a quick lesson on scotch by the Whisky Sommelier who flew in from Scotland. Genting organises a lot of such events, so there’s always something for you to do when you are up at the mountain resort.

Life is good when you get to see a show after a nice dinner. We had tickets to FREEZE – a magic show on ice at Genting International Showroom. What a spectacular show!

I’ll be honest. Initially I wasn’t keen to go for FREEZE as I thought it was just another boring show. Boy, was I wrong. I had a good time, and it was really awe-inspiring to see talented performers working hard for their trade.

Genting has always been known as a stage that hosts world-class shows and international artistes all year round. So make sure you catch one of the shows when you are there!

Even though I was really tired, I couldn’t sleep because I was thinking about having breakfast at Coffee Terrace the next morning.

Coffee Terrace (Lobby Flour Maxims Genting Tel: +603 6101 1118 Ext. 58267) is my favourite breakfast spot in Genting. Their breakfast buffet is really awesome, and it’s only RM 36++! All you can eat for only less than SGD$20? Oh my god, how can anyone miss this?

During lunch and dinner dinner, they have six different concept kitchen serving Local, Baba Nyonya, Chinese, Western, Japanese, and Western Cuisines.

We were up early for the buffet breakfast not because I am a glutton, but because we were heading to Awana Genting for an adventure.

Located at mid-hill, Awana Genting is a premier 4-star golf resort surrounded by greenery. However, we were not there to play golf; our host from Genting had arranged for us to go hiking in the mountains. Yes, you read that right – hiking. Like most of you, I was surprised to know that you can actually go hiking at Genting.

While on the way to the start of the hiking trail, we passed by a long house and we were told that a lot of companies organise their retreats here.

There are lots of activities that are great for team building. So if your company is looking for a place to go for a retreat, do consider Awana Genting.

Halfway through the 1.8km hiking-trail, the girls were so terrified by the leeches that we had to turn back. It was really amusing because they were screaming non-stop while asking me to remove the leeches from their shoes.

After going back to Awana hotel, then I realised that there were two nasty leeches hiding inside my boots for a good twenty minutes. Ouch!

While the girls didn’t really enjoy it, I thought it was quite an experience. I mean, it’s not everyday that you get to go on a hike in Genting. As long as you are wearing the right gear, the hike should be a piece of cake.

Note: There is a shutter bus at half an hour interval from Genting to Awana (the journey is 20 minutes). Alternatively, you can get a cab for around RM20-30. For more information, do approach your hotel’s reception.

After the hike, we proceeded to Genting Strawberry Leisure Farm (No.1, Lot 3707, Jalan Jati 2, Bandar Gohtong Jaya, Tel: 603-6100 1121).

In Singapore, we only get to buy strawberries from the supermarket. But at Genting Strawberry Farm, you get to pick fresh strawberries!

And we also had strawberry juice, mushroom tempura, strawberry ice cream, and fried chicken coated with strawberry sauce.

We headed back to our hotel to change, before going for a therapeutic massage at M Spa & Fitness (Lobby Floor, Maxims Genting Hotel, Tel :603 – 6105 2692).
I did a 90-minute Balinese massage and I felt so good after that. It probably explains why I ate so much during the dinner at Genting Palace.

During this trip, we ate our way around Genting, and my favourite meal was at Genting Palace. From the outside, Genting Palace (2nd Floor, Maxims Genting Hotel Tel: +603 6101 1118) doesn’t look like much. Before the meal, I was even telling Beatrice that we shouldn’t expect too much. I had to take back my words after having a fabulous dinner.

We had a variation of starters; a bowl of Double-boiled Chicken & Ginseng Soup; Crispy Scallop & Banana with Peak Nest; Braised Spare Ribs with Red Vinasse Sauce; Stewed Fresh Water Prawn with Glass Noodle; Steamed Cod Fish Fillet; and Durian Mochi.

Everything was good, but the best dish was the Steamed Cod Fish Fillet. It was easily one of the best Cod I’ve ever had.

Besides the signature Cantonese dishes, Genting Palace also serves a good selection of vegetarian dishes, and they are popular for their dim sum offerings. If you are in Genting, you must go to Genting Palace and say hi to the chef for me.

By the time we got to First World after dinner, most of the shops were closed, so we didn’t get to shop around. You guys should definitely go shopping when you are at First World! Like they say, shopping is cheaper than a psychologist. Since you are already on a holiday, I reckon some retail therapy won’t hurt.

Before the trip, the girls were telling me that they wanted to catch a movie at the First World Theatre; we had a tight schedule so we also didn’t manage to watch a movie.
Anyway, we went to The Patio Bar & Lounge at First World for drinks. It had a terrific atmosphere with the live band belting out pop favourites. We had a CRAZY NIGHT there. It was so, so fun! What happens in Genting stays in Genting.

Sadly, our adventure was coming to an end. But it wasn’t that bad as we had a good breakfast at The Bakery (Lobby level Maxims Genting) before leaving.

We had the pleasure of meeting the executive pastry chef of Resorts World Genting. It was fascinating to hear about his experience of working in Genting, and how his team actually works round the clock to ensure that all the guests get to eat freshly baked bread, pastries and cakes.

After tasting some of the signature bread, we had a table full of desserts. Cakes for breakfast, what’s there not to like?

That’s all for now folks! Hopefully I can do a more detailed guide on restaurants in Resorts World Genting, and the rides in the theme park during my next visit.
Sincere advice to PM Lee - You need to heal the PAP. The only way you can do this is announce your retirement and pave the way for a new leader to take your place.

maybe your style of play is very much different from mine...(too fast..too furious ?) (haha)

on my last trip..i play some 5K/5D and others (wms/aristocrats)..but no free games at all...

even i managed to hit a few free games..
but the payout was "peanuts"..(no more than 1000 credits won with min bets/max lines)
    first day..lost $500... ;
    2nd day..brought another $500..but called it quits..after losing another $300.. (enough..enough!!)

(24 hrs levy..but go in the evening 7 pm to 12 pm..then from 11 am to about 6.30pm next day)

i even make some small credits from the Konami "Vibrant 7 and "dragon ball games".. (and also "sex in the city" )

luckily , i was able to cover back some cost from the Azure games (Shen long)..

just that, i increased bets (5 times) when it was about 150 games to go..(hit a big one of about $400 ) (free games came early !)

and cover back some of my cost (my bank roll - is only about $700-$1000 per trip)
called it quits..and do not intend to play anymore after that,
(as i was worry, may donate it back to them) still lost but had fun !

later on, was surprised, that when i bet just only 6 lines of shenlong..instead of 50 lines..
i can still make money..but small winnings only.. (haha.)
as that was just to past time..very small bets till levy time expiry..
(as i had already called it "quits for the day!" )

Good news to Aristocrat lovers. Went RWS last evening and noticed that the Aruze and Belly machines at Penny Slot area have been replaced by Aristocrat 5D, 5K, FK, CSY, 50Dragons, Lucky88, etc...about 30 machines. They are still out of service but I guess they will be ready pretty soon. Just wonder what denom are these machines

    Hi Kia and RWS Regulars

Can advise on current RWS Freebies and Promos ?
Someone wants to know and I'm unable to offer current info since have not stepped into RWS for AGES

Hmmm .... MBS seems to be luring me back with their complimentary offers
    Wakin Chau concert in March
Free rooms in April (sighs - LOST $$ only as exhausted my April funds - my 2nd stay was a biggish loss as started on wrong slots etc etc) and now May too - hope they'll continue with June free rooms as I'll want to upgrade using my Sands Dollars to a Club Room for a birthday treat (since nobody wants to do cruise with me and it's Peak Season for RWS GP point redemption for Star VIRGO Cruise CABINS in June as it'll be the school hols)
Didn't claim 29/4 Star Awards 2 complimentary tickets since friend wasn't keen
Then a call and email on free tickets for World Boxing something - NOT my cup of tea there
MBS should offer me free tickets for their shows & musicals instead !
