A FATHER was sentenced to one year in jail for directing his underage daughter to have sex with her netpal in Taiwan.
He then took photographs of them and extorted the netpal for money.
In August last year, the father came to know that his 15-year-old daughter had sex with a man she met over a social-networking site in the Internet.
The 42-year-old father did not forbid her from having sex.
Instead, he ordered his daughter to have sex with her 37-year-old netpal again at a hotel room, where he installed a hidden camera.
When the daughter and her netpal were having sex, the father and a friend stormed into the room and assaulted the man.
The father also threatened the netpal with a sickle and stick, forcing him to pose for photographs in various positions with the girl.
He then asked the man to pay him NT$400,000 (S$172,320) for settlement but the latter refused.
Both parties lodged a separate police reports.
On Monday, Taichung Court sentenced the father and his 39-year-old friend to one-year imprisonment.
It also put the netpal on a three-year probation for having sex with an underage girl.
