As I said before, the PAP cannot afford another Sylvia / Ng Eng Hen surprise/debacle and the TOC is their vehicle. Nearly all the chaps in TOC have no clue what the intended purpose is so they will not behave like regular "hantus"
Do not share confidential and tactical things including who your campaign workers, the numbers involved and the challenges that you face to any member of TOC.
Also do not share any thing with very good friends who are to close to TOC and may inadvertently spill the beans without realising it. Locke - like it or not, you are a conduit to both WP and NSP. Just go dumb until the elections as you are too comfortable with one key element of this lot.
So much effort, money and time is going to be spent so don't throw it all away by not taking the necessary precaution.
As one should realise that TOC did not fall into Singapore by fluke. Its is also interesting that its much, much closer to the opposition and does even get a phonecall returned from the PAP.
The media and the foreign service have been traditionally used as convenient vehicles and will be continued to used as such. The SPH chap covering China did not get thrown into Beijing jail for spitting on its street. Note also the Singapore rhetoric or complete lack of it. The guy got caught red handed as he had his laptop with him.
Even if you think this is a conspiracy theory, there is no harm in keeping your trap shut until and after the elections. If there is a need to tell TOC or SPH anything, do CC Ng Eng Hen so that he don't get it a day later.
