<!-- end left side bar --> <!-- story content : start --> A MOTORIST who kicked a cabby on his abdomen at a road junction was jailed for six weeks on Tuesday. Technician Mohamad Fadzlee Ariffin, 29, pleaded guilty to causing hurt to Mr Seow Chee Khim, 55, at the junction of Perak Road and Dunlop Street on Dec 31 last year. A court heard that Fadzlee was driving his fiancee's car when he stopped in front of a pub after the junction along Dunlop Street. This prevented Mr Seow's cab from proceeding any further along the narrow street. Fadzlee, who claimed the cabby drove in a reckless manner, came out of his vehicle and started abusing Mr Seow. He also gestured the victim to come out of his taxi. Subsequently, he used his forearm to hit against the driver's side window before opening the door and threw a punch at the victim which missed. Fadzlee then kicked the victim on the abdomen, and drove off. He could have been jailed for up to two years and/or fined up to $5,000 for causing hurt.
