So boring, Gold Coast is more exciting, natural national parks, beautiful beaches, theme parks, sea sports, casino and many more exciting things to do then the man-make integrated resort in Sg. The development and oversea investment is very healthy. In long term IR is bound to be a failure!

Have you been to sleazy clubs in SG or JB? There is no such thing as lap dance.. no rules... heheehe. Soon the casino in SG will come with more sleazy clubs, loanshark etc.. It is good to get a diff taste.

Eh, no, but I've heard of the Papaya farms etc thats going on in SG and especially JB, the Sentosa in JB right? Soon SG Sentosa may become the JB Sentosa.:biggrin::biggrin::biggrin: Plus girls in these sleazy clubs are not locals, they are usually PRC, Indon, Viets so you can't say you can find SPGs there. SPGs go for Ang Mohs lah.

Anyone remember the Tang dynasty in SG? Wasn't that an attempt by Papies to have its own Theme parks? SG is too hot and humid to have Theme parks IMHO, the weather is just not suited for walking throughout the day under the hot sun. You still get a nice cool breeze in Gold Coast and its not as humid over there. Perhaps if they have everything indoor it would be another matter.

Aiya, precisely, the best kept secret is still in the US original universal studios, the Singapore one is probably the asianised version.

No-rule bar - pls la, just go to any beaches in Gold Coast you get to see topless angmo babes suntanning, why bother to the bar in Sentosa.

The main attraction in Gold Coast is still the end endless white sandy beaches and its clear blue sky, not everyone bothers to go to the theme parks (there's 3-5 parks to choose) apart family and students. There's also good golf courses and nationa parks to visit. A lot of Chinese visiting there for property investments and touring at the same time.

The ambience is just totally different. The gold coast is set on a scenic, relax and laidback environment whereas the Sg is at the heart of the city in a hot, humid weather.

The only plus point is the IR has all the attractions in one single location, whereas the Gold Coast one is spread-out. In a few years time after the launch, IR would no longer be the main attraction thus Sg has to keep coming out with new ideas and strategy to attract tourists, operating and maintenance cost will be very high to keep people interested. Gold Coast, however, will attract repeat-visitors just with the seductive beaches alone.

I am talking solely about Uni Studio & sleazy bar in Sentosa,JB.. trying to talk up SG's big achievement lah. heehee. Also our mighty AUD can spend like crazy..

Ok ok.. ya right ! the ambience is totally diff.. few minutes drive from Gold Coast (where babes are tanning, 3 worlds, wet & wild),. you hit the greeny mountains and waterfalls.. Then somewhere in Coomera, you've Yatala yummy pie  up north you have Noosa Heads for para-sailing.. further up you have Fraser Island for 4WD by the beach @ 80km/hr..

Gosh ! I feel like moving back asap. Wait ! I booked my flight in Dec.. Hmm.. I'll enjoy on ya behalf :P
