Tattoo man tio chop to death for asking kopi uncle "Kua simi kua?"

光顾咖啡店酿命案！文身汉疑买饮料闹风波，指咖啡叔瞪他，气煞抛出一句：“你看什么看！”，结果遭对方涉持菜刀尾随百米理论后遭砍死！

这起命案今天凌晨2时左右发生在后港3道第23座组屋楼下的咖啡店外，据本报探知，死者是37岁文身汉洪金吉（译音），涉案者是50岁咖啡叔许统明，外号“阿明”。

记者接获通知赶往现场，发现命案位置是距离咖啡店100米之处的电房外，现场已被警方封锁。

SINGAPORE - A man was found dead in Hougang early this morning (Feb 25) after he was reportedly stabbed in the neck by a coffee shop assistant he had got into a minor altercation with earlier.

The 37-year-old victim was named by Lianhe Wanbao as Mr Ang Kim Keat.

According to Shin Min Daily News, the two had been involved in a staring incident at the coffee shop where the 50-year-old suspect worked at.

An eyewitness, another coffee shop assistant, told the Chinese evening daily that Mr Ang had been unhappy when he was told by an employee about the self-service policy at the drinks stall.

As Mr Ang turned to leave, he saw the suspect, who was off-duty and drinking at a table nearby, looking at him. Mr Ang asked the suspect "What are you staring at?" and left.

The suspect also left after picking something up from the zi char stall.

Later, police received a call for help at about 2.15am at Block 23, Hougang Avenue 3.

The victim, who was found injured, was conveyed to Tan Tock Seng Hospital. He then died from his injuries at about 3.30am.

The suspect was arrested at his home in Ang Mo Kio at about 4am, Shin Min reported.

Investigations are ongoing.
