After prolong usage, it will subject to wear and tear. Joysticks and buttons can be replace by D.I.Y. or modding with Sanwa parts. You will need soldering tool.

Usually most manufacturers provides 2-in-1 connectors, compatible with Playstation and PC, unless otherwise stated.
You can also buy one that is cheaper and easy for modding like changing to better Sanwa buttons and joystick using soldering tool.
