American global hegemony must be stopped! Their TV programmes corrupt our children minds!! Wrong values destroys societies. Materialism, Hatred, Abortions, Gun violence, Malice, Pursuits of the flesh, Gay marriages and the Spread of marijuana must be stopped!

How? What are the alternatives?

Given a choice, which company would you work for? Russian? Chinese? Japanese? German? Local? ...... USA!
Given a choice, what music would you listen? American? Chinese? Local? .......................................... USA!
Given a choice, which superhero do you wish to become? Russian? Chinese? Japanese? ...................... USA!
Given a choice, what aircraft would you rather fly in? Russian? Chinese? American? ............................ USA!

Given a choice, it looks like America is the winner here. No, I am not in support of USA, but they still win despite biases and all other factors.

I would much rather live in a world dominated by American values and American military power than by any other nation.

Imagine the alternatives. Russia? China? Would you want to live in a world dominated by China's values? Where people run businesses on a fly-by-night basis and no one believes in building institutions that stand the test of time?

Do you think Americal hegemony is better than China hegemony as far as Singapore is concerned? I would go for American hegemony anyday.

Europeans are much better.

As long as there is no sinkie hegemony, then it is ok.

Not only do the Europeans outshine the Yanks in a number of things (eg. soccer, beer, many cuisines), even the Japanese (and Koreans) make superior consumer products, but nobody sells, markets, their brands like the Americans. In the field of marketing, advertising, they are way ahead of the rest of the world! Wish to highlight this subject on one brand - Harley Davidson motorcycles. To anyone who is into engineering/technology of motorized vehicles, this US brand is an outdated stone-age noisy clanking piece of iron that is overweight, and an insult to mechanical ingenuity. BUT - Harley Davidson is doing extremely well. Among motorcyclist who have the bucks, they're likely to consider one, it is even in demand by serious Japanese motorcycle enthusiasts! So much so that Honda, Yamaha even copies Harleys! Fanatics even tattoo the Harley-Davidson logo onto their bodies! It is stupid, but nevertheless, true!
