With so many hotly contested wards in this GE , and many more credible candidates this time round, any results either in favor of the PAP or the Opps may send shockwaves to the residents who vote for the favorite party especially the die-heart fans.

Many old people may suffer heart-attack if their favorite candidate is not elected in as their MP. And for the PAP supporters, if the Opps party get elected into the PAP incumbent wards, there will be a huge outpouring of grief similar to the one in March. Be prepared for a week of mourning.

Even Ministers especially those with grey hair may not be spared from losing in this GE.
They may also suffer heart attacks when they realize that their jobs have disappeared overnight.
They may eventually have to hook up with Tuck Yew for GD jobs.

And even Ah RUN may run to Bedok Reservoir if Ting Ru doesn't win Marine Parade GRC.

It is a blessing to die of heart attack for one who have reached a ripe old age as it is the quickest way of natural death. Definitely much better than being hooked up to a mechanical ventilator, against your wish, to prolong your suffering.

I remember the year when GCT was the PM and the GE results under his leadership was one of the lowest in Singapore's history, he was so disappointed with it that he could not hold himself in the interview with the main-stream media. It was one of his "woodiest of woody" interview.

Just want to remind everyone not to take this election too seriously... Sometimes you win , sometimes you lose... it is just part of life. Life still goes on.

It was his first General Election after coming on as the second PM after LKY. He was seeking for a strong mandate to his leadership. But he could not believe that his open and consultative government style had caused the huge slide in the GE 's results. Obviously, he was stunned and disappointed that he had read the ground wrongly.

He could not hold himself ... he was shocked by the results and couldn't figure what to say to the media. It was not a result that he expected... and especially so when he came into office as the PM in less than 3 years.

I am particularly touched by this 88 yrs old lady who insisted to go to the SDP rally to hear Dr Chee.
