What a lot of Singaporeans do not realised is that our defense spending on a per km or per capita basis is the highest in the world. Shaving back 40% is perfectly fine. That would at the very least stop the stupid scholars from buying F35s and using defence budget as a tribute to USA.

Since the PAP government does NOT reveal how MINDEF spends its budget, it is assumed that there is lots of fats to be cut;
There is NO reason why MINDEF cannot reveal how it spends its budget.
The Opposition party cannot comment on spending except to say there are lots of entitlement spending by the existing government that can be redirected to be used for the people. Having a Senior Emeritus Minister is not necessary. It is not necessary to have multiple ministers for a ministry. There is no necessity for mayors. There is no need for PA.
