Re: [Electoral Map] Joo Chiat SMC Disappeared

I thought Potong Pasir would be absorbed into Bishan-Toa Payoh. They must be quite confident, now that CST is almost totally out of the picture and Lina doesn't seem to be regaining lost ground.

But Moulmein-Kallang is gone. The Pappies obviously fear WP more.

No. The PAP is giving chance to let WP win 4 grcs.

With JC SMC being absorbed into MP GRC, WP will likely contest there. Quite likely we will see 3CF in MP GRC.

Half of Bishan -TP GRC previously belonged to MK GRC. Also one place where WP will possibly contest. To face off with SPP led by CST is the more difficult part for WP.

Got More Shit should take on pappie in a SMC and test out his popularity. Like that he loses he cannot blame his teammate and should stay off politics for good.

Why the whole place so quiet like a cemetery.
General Election is so near and yet the whole place is so disquieting.
What is happening to the OPPO Team ?
No sound no voice no pictures no nothing!!!
The PAP has been active all the year round.
The MPs have been working so hard to get to the ground.
Surely they will all win hands down.

Re: PAP cheating in Elections again!! Oppositions have no chance man!

what cheating
this is appropriate and legally done
wp and other oppo candidates are bloody useless
go in parliament warm seat collect allowances
pap mps have to work like hell
meet the people sessions and solve their problems
they are a dedicated lot
they should all be voted in

all the seats should go to the pap
then there will be no problems

oppo candidates simply cause troubles
they have no bite
no muscle
no bullets
they are actually damned useless and hapless..

you got problems you see your pap candidates
surely got solutions
you got problems you see your oppo candidates
tankookoo ok....

Fengsan is carved out to save east coast grc. Probably there will be 3 or 4 corner fight at fengsan.

Opposition areas now joined to Tanjong Pagar GRC. PAP scared opposition lose too badly in Tanjong Pagar GRCs, so lend you a helping hand. If opposition still cannot win, they all should go chop off their own cocks!

Election boundaries: Does trust override the need for transparency?

With the General Elections 2015 possibly just around the corner, there have been many sentiments shared about various electoral rules and regulations that shape the voting system. This piece focuses on some of criticisms and counter-criticisms to the issue of transparency in the redrawing of the boundaries set by the Electoral Boundaries Review Committee (EBRC).

A chief criticism is that Singapore does not have an independent elections commission.

The EBRC is appointed by the Singapore Elections Department; a statutory board under the Prime Minister’s Office. Once the EBRC completes its report, recommendations are made to the Prime Minister who is also the head of a competing political party. This fuels the perception of bias. While we know that the EBRC is chaired by the Secretary to the Cabinet, there is no information on who the other committee members are, other than the fact that they’re civil servants.

PM Lee Hsien Loong made a statement in Parliament on 13 July 2015, providing a reason on why the EBRC does not comprise a representation of political parties:

GMS is an expert when it comes to 'escape' routes. Will be GRC for him.
