i eat and drink in MRT too.. i don't give a fuck because PAP is the govt now..

you want people to obey the rules, then the first thing to change is for PAP to get out of the govt and resign.

Yes you are right. Their maintenance is third world standard since a long time ago, introduced by ex-Msian Saw PH who cut corners in maintenance.

The irony is Saw - when she was in Msia - was probably one of the many Msian chinese complaint kings of Msia govt being poor in maintenance of infrastructure.

I eat and drink on the trains here as well. I don't see why its such a big deal not to. As long as you don't make a mess on the train and dispose of the left overs properly. Its not a big issue here. Most people here don't bother whether you eat or drink on the trains. Singaporean has to get over the fear that breaking the rules will get them in jail or incur the wrath of the MIWs.
