Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott says he won't criticise Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand for turning back asylum-seeker boats because Australia would do the same. Mr. Abbott said on Sunday he was not critical of efforts made by other nations to stop people smuggling in the region. "I don't apologise in any way for the action that Australia has taken to preserve safety at sea by turning boats around where necessary," he said. "And if other countries choose to do that, frankly that is almost certainly absolutely necessary if the scourge of people smuggling is to be beaten. If that meant taking more vigorous action on the high seas or closer to Burma, so be it."

A boat crammed with migrants was towed out to sea by the Thai navy and then held up by Malaysian vessels on Saturday, the latest round of "maritime ping-pong" by Asian states determined not to let asylum seekers come ashore. An estimated 25,000 Bangladeshis and Rohingya boarded smugglers' boats in the first three months of this year, twice as many as in the same period of 2014, the United Nations has said. Their destination is Malaysia.

"Yes, we've always got to be humane and we've always got to be decent, but in the end we have to stop the boats," Abbott told reporters in Perth. After coming into power in September 2013, Australia's conservative government introduced a military-led operation to turn back boats carrying asylum-seekers before they reach the island continent. The boats are turned back to where they transited from, mostly Indonesia, or those on board are sent to offshore processing camps on the Pacific islands of Papua New Guinea and Nauru and blocked from resettling in Australia even if they are found to be genuine refugees.


Indonesia: We cannot accept more of these people, our navy will shoo them towards Malaysia

The government has credited the controversial policy for the nation going nearly 18 months with virtually no asylum-seeker boat arrivals and no reported deaths at sea, although human rights advocates have slammed it for violating Australia's international obligations. Before the policy was introduced, boats were arriving almost daily with hundreds of people drowning en route. "As long as the people smugglers put those in search of a better life into leaky boats and send them out into the open sea you will have deaths," Abbott added. "That's why the heart of this is stopping the boats."

Abbott's comments came as Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak said he would seek help from Myanmar to address the influx of migrants, Southeast Asia's biggest since the end of the Vietnam War. But Myanmar's government – which denies the Rohingya citizenship – has already rejected a Thai call for a regional summit on the issue on May 29, saying it was not their problem. Myanmar insists Rohingya are illegal immigrants from Bangladesh. Even though Myanmar is the poorest nation in Southeast Asia, Bangladesh is even poorer, leading to many migrating out seeking for greener pastures elsewhere.

of course, you allow well heeled immigrants to settle into your Nation if both party is willing. I think the Aussie has learn their lesson well. These Muslim refugees are left to their own devices.

What will happen if 10 of thousand decide to stay and reside here in Singapore. We have to feed them, cloth them and keep them in camps forever ? Imagine you need to feed and cloth them 3 meals per day and thousand of mouths per time.

How much money will you want to spend ?

Maybe i shall ask all those who is critical to open up their country and you shall let them stay there. I give you the money and you upkeep them at your risk. It not money, it the risks you have to undertake to upkeep them physically in your own Nation.

Myanmar's president has signed off on a controversial law that could see mothers forced to have children at least three years apart, despite objections that it could be used to repress ethnic minorities including Rohingya Muslims, according to reports.
President Thein Sein signed the Population Control Health Care Bill into law on Saturday, just hours after a visiting US diplomat left the country, the Associated Press reported.
The bill was passed by Myanmar's parliamentarians last month.
US deputy secretary of state Anthony Blinken said he warned Myanmar's leaders about the dangers of the bill during face to face talks on Friday, the report said.
"The legislation contains provisions that can be enforced in a manner that would undermine reproductive rights, women's rights and religious freedom," Mr Blinken told reporters on Friday.
"We shared the concerns that these bills can exacerbate ethic and religious divisions and undermine the country's efforts to promote tolerance and diversity."

"It's very disappointing," Khin Lay, a women's rights activist told the Associate Press.
"If the government wants to protect women, they should strengthen laws already in place to do that."
Many of the migrants arriving on the shores of South-East Asian nations recently in crowded boats have been Rohingyas from Myanmar.
The widespread persecution of the impoverished Muslim community in Myanmar's western Rakhine state is one of the primary causes for the current crisis, alongside growing numbers trying to escape poverty in neighbouring Bangladesh.
Myanmar's government however has reiterated its refusal to recognise the stateless Rohingya as an ethnic group, preferring to call them "Bengalis" — shorthand for illegal migrants.
Buddhist hardliners have warned that Muslims, which represent only 10 per cent of Myanmar's population, could take over, due to their high birthrates.

I was on Facebook, and when I saw this, I was like, ok, Fuck Off Muslims.

This is the newly proposed Australian flag to be brought before parliament in the coming months, as you can see a few minor changes have been made, these changes include the implementation of an Islamic symbol. This symbol was included to honour and pay homage to the influence of Islam, Allah and his people in Australia. All we ask is Australians allows this small change to their wonderful flag to embrace the steady righteous rise of Islam in our beautiful country. You will all be thanking Allah for your blessings in the future, a great change is coming.

The pattern for all to see is the rise of Islamic intolerance and the covert/cultural jihad to remake host societies into sharia-compliant worlds – to remove host sovereignty and replace it with Islamic sharia law. The website www.thereligionofpeace.com keeps track of the number of violent jihad attacks as best it can. The site lists more than 14,000 attacks since September 2001. It is worth a visit. What is occurring, however, that is likely inestimable are events where muslims are bullied by other muslims for not being “muslim enough,” where non-Muslims are intimidated into doing or not doing what they desire, where remnant populations are in a death spiral simply for being non-muslim in a predominantly muslim area. Christians, Jews, Hindus, Buddhists Animists and Atheists meet with death, property destruction or confiscation, forced conversion, rape, excessive taxation (the jizya), enslavement, riotous mobs and various other forms of islam (in-) justice at the hands of muslims in Sudan, Philippines, Kenya, Malaysia, India, etc. And let us not forget ‘death to Apostates’ the world over.

STAGE 4: Totalitarian ISLAMIC “THEOCRACY”

Islam becomes the only religious-political-judicial-cultural ideology.

Sharia becomes the “law of the land.
All non-Islamic human rights cancelled.
Enslavement and genocide of non-Muslim population.
Freedom of speech and the press eradicated.
All religions other than Islam are forbidden and destroyed.
Destruction of all evidence of non-Muslim culture, populations and symbols in country (Buddhas, houses of worship, art, etc).
The House of Islam (“peace”), dar al-Islam, includes those nations that have submitted to Islamic rule, to the soul crushing, liberty-condemning, discriminatory law of Sharia. The rest of the world in in the House of War, dar al-harb, because it does not submit to Sharia, and exists in a state of rebellion or war with the will of ‘Allah.’ No non-Muslim state or its citizens are “innocent,” and remain viable targets of war for not believing in ‘Allah.’ The Christian, Jewish, Coptic, Hindu and Zoroastrian peoples of world have suffered under subjugation for centuries. The Dhimmi-esque are forbidden to construct houses of worship or repair existing ones, economically crippled by the heavy jizya (tax), socially humiliated, legally discriminated against, criminally targeted and generally kept in a permanent state of weakness, fear and vulnerability by Islamic governments.

It should be noted that forced conversions (Egypt) and slavery (Sudan) are still reported. Homosexuals have been hung in the public square in Iran. Young girls are married to old men. Apostates are threatened with death. “Honor” killings are routine. Women are legally second-class citizens, though Muslim males insist they are “treated better” than in the West. These more obvious manifestations may distract from some less obvious ones such as the lack of intellectual inquiry in science, narrow scope of writing, all but non-existent art and music, sexual use and abuse of youth and women, and the disregard for personal fulfillment, joy and wonder. Look into the eyes of a recently married 12 year old girl to see the consequence of the moral deprivation spawned by Islam.

A group of migrants recently rescued by Myanmar will be deported to Bangladesh, officials have confirmed, as the United Nations chief called on regional nations to prioritise saving the lives of those still stranded at sea.
More than 3,500 migrants have swum to shore or been rescued off the coasts of Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and Bangladesh since a Thai crackdown on human trafficking in early May threw the illicit trade into chaos.
Myanmar has faced increasing international pressure to stem the deluge from its shores and deliver urgent humanitarian relief to thousands still trapped at sea.
On Friday the country's navy said it had carried out its first rescue of a migrant boat, when scores of bare-chested men were found crammed into the hull of a wooden fishing vessel and taken to shore.
Myanmar officials said all 208 men are from Bangladesh and will soon be returned there.
"We are giving humanitarian assistance to them. After that we will deport them back to the relevant country," presidential office director Zaw Htay said.
"We have made contact with Bangladeshi border officials on the ground regarding the arrived persons."
Bangladesh's border guard force said a team would travel to Myanmar shortly.
"Our commander will go himself. The entire procedure might take up to two or three days to complete," Major Abu Russell Siddiki, a spokesman at the Teknaf border post, said.
A separate law enforcement source said Bangladesh wanted to make sure Myanmar did not send any Rohingya.
Meanwhile, Indonesia has launched a search-and-rescue operation for thousands of refugees believed to be adrift of its north-eastern coast.
The military had initially stopped the boats, but the government has since agreed to provide shelter to refugees.
[h=2]Saving lives 'top priority'[/h]The rescue by the Myanmar navy comes as fears grow for migrants still stuck at sea at a time when the dry winter months are about to give way to the regional monsoon.
It is believed around 2,000 vulnerable migrants are stranded in the Bay of Bengal, many at the mercy of ruthless people smugglers.

Most migrants aim for Malaysia and Indonesia using dangerous and lucrative smuggling networks that criss-cross the region.
Nobel Peace Prize-winning opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi is yet to comment on the current crisis, a silence that observers attribute to fears over alienating a swathe of the electorate just months ahead of the polls.
