103 drug offenders arrested in 4-day island-wide drug bust

103 drug offenders were arrested over a 4-day period from May 4 to 8 in an island-wide operation, the Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) said in a statement on Friday.
The drugs haul yielded about 24g of heroin, 13g of 'Ice', 10g of cannabis and seven Erimin-5 tablets.
Officers from the Singapore Police Force supported the drug bust which covered several areas Ang Mo Kio, Bishan, Bukit Batok, Bukit Merah, Boon Lay, Choa Chu Kang, Jurong, Woodlands and Yishun.
The CNB also highlighted the arrest of a drug trafficking suspect who was selling drugs to local youths.
Following the arrests of six Singaporean male teens, investigations revealed that a 26-year-old Singaporean woman had supplied 'Ice' to them.
She was arrested on May 5 and a small packet of 'Ice' was recovered from her.
Another three packets of the substance were seized during a raid of the residential unit she shared with her 27-year-old Singaporean boyfriend. He was also arrested.
In addition, officers seized an improvised drug-smoking apparatus, a digital weighing scale and several empty plastic packets from the unit.
If convicted of trafficking drugs to a young person, the female suspect will face a minimum jail term of ten years.
Investigations on all suspects are ongoing.
