Red herring fallacy.

The issue here is not whether her MBA is relevant to her work.

The issue is dishonesty. A degree mill sells degrees and diplomas. Which means her MBA is fake or illegitimate.

Putting a fake MBA on your resume is cheating, whether it's relevant or not. Is the IDA condoning dishonesty and cheating for its employees and job applicants?

I'm not an India expert. But can anyone confirm if the University that awarded her the Bachelor's degree is reputable? What I know is if I have a Bachelor's degree from a reputable University, I wouldn't buy a MBA from a degree mill to taint my academic reputation like she did.

I thought it was the opposite. She bought a fake degree to corrupt her otherwise basic degree from "reputable University in India".

I'm not even sure if this phrase "reputable University in India" is valid.

Would any Cambridge or Oxford graduates even contemplate buying a postgraduate degree from a degree mill ? Even NUS graduates don't do that.
