We need teachers to enable students to think ...to look at issues critically, instead of taking them at face value.
Wonder why sinkapore doesn't have any success global business? Look at our education system.
We are not entrepreneurial, lack creativity, risk averse, take stupid risks (eg. Ho Jinx and her investment team in Temasek and GIC).
Countries of similar size in the West can provide high standard of living for the masses and have world-class companies, and these countries don't use English as working language. So, sinkapore had better take a hard look at itself instead of patting itself on the back.
