I hope NEA can deploy its officers to fine and shame lee kuan yew mourners.

They throw rubbish and shit at these places.

SINGAPORE: The growing bevy of Good Samaritans doling out free drinks and snacks to those swarming to say goodbye to the late Mr Lee Kuan Yew has, ironically, caused an ugly side of Singapore to re-emerge.

members of the public continued tossing their trash into overflowing bins. As a result, cleaners had to work at double time, and some volunteers there to give out sustenance also went around to pick up litter.

The country, he helped make into a garden city, clean rivers & water & good education....are still, dirty, uncouth & can't be bothered, lacking social graces & manners....majullah Singapura!!! :roll eyes:

We should bring the people , especially those who Q, most likely from the 60% voting percentage, back to the 'future'.....to the days of the attap roof houses, with m&d floors ( before, "ang mo huay" came into being), latrines was outhouses, drain into a hole ( before the 36 door delivery), chicken coop where the latrines are, back to the kampung. They can just toss rubbish out of the house, out on the m&d paths, toss them anywhere, everywhere..

What a shame, we are celebrating 50 years of Singapore.....the kampungs & fishing villages cultures & habits ares till there...we must be having a very lousy educational system....?? or the people have bad genes?? ha ha ha ha

This funeral organised by the SAF scholars, right? Why dun they follow similar system for National Day ticket by making the minions book their tickets to the event online. Whoever got the ticket can also huat by selling it online.:biggrin:. They also no need to suffer in the hot sun for 10 hours and cause traffic jam all over plus all the littering.

The padang was too open space to do some f$%$%, but there were those who lay newspapers, ponchos near to the trees & do some canoodling, condoms, you have to ask the cleaners, who sweep the place there every morning. But use to jog at certain reservoirs, when younger, it is common to see WET condoms, hanging in the bushes....:biggrin:

Maybe for nostalgia reason they place LKY at parliament house, I feel that they should have place him at city hall....

Yes the Satay club at Queen Elizabeth Walk, then it was call, the Esplanade. Use to eat there after work, & eat at NUMBER ONE satay stall, the famous yummy satays, especially his perut satay!
