Are sinkies willing to pay more tax so that bastards whelped on SPGs can get some financial support? We grassroots already give some support, but still cannot compare to the amount the government can give if they formally agree to help these SPGs and their bastards.

I remember Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew’s instructions to the young people to work hard for a better future. I thought I did work very hard in my role as a mother & wife.
During my younger days, holding a job & giving tuition & helping out at my husband’s stall was real. After 20 years of struggles, I am now a single mother, I wish to ask for a little understanding.
No woman wish to be a single mother, importantly, single mothers are no beggars, we are just asking for a way out of our lives with our children. In fact, single mothers should be supported because they are the ones handling a full-time job, juggling with finances, ensuring meals for their children, ensuring disciplines for their children, ensuring values for their children, handling the housework for their children. The word ‘housework’ here may seem a simple word but yet behind the simple word is a lot of hard work.
I speak from a child brought up in a single parent home myself; can we have our cost of living lowered? Can our food be $3 instead of $5? Can our Public Housing be made available for single parent who are in a situation due to errant spouses? Can our government grant our children a normal life?
