SINGAPORE - A man who snatched a woman's handbag and broke into a home to steal after losing money at a casino was jailed a total of three years on Thursday.
Norfadzli Abdullah, 26, who faced five charges, pleaded guilty to the two offences and drug possession.
A district court heard that Norfadzli had lost money gambling at the Resorts World Sentosa casino on July 5 last year.
He was walking at the void deck of a block in Boon Lay Drive when he saw Madam Lim Juat Eng carrying some groceries, with a handbag slung over her shoulder.
