Hougang reject now cozying up to Tampines residents

Desmond Choo's affiliation is like the weather.

It was not long ago that he called voters of Houngang "our residents".

After being rejected twice by the voters there, he has shifted his attention to Tampines and is now calling voters there "our residents".

For someone who's going to land that $15k a month job through the backdoor and potentially more if he follows the footsteps of Desmond Lee to become a first term Minister of State, we aren't surprised he's grinning from ear to ear.

Mah Bow Tan made a mess of the public housing system, causing a huge backlog and prices to go up too quickly. It hurt many Sinkies, but yet Sinkies still voted him into office for yet another term. Desmond has no major screw ups yet, so he is most likely to win in Tampines GRC elections. Sinkies ability to absorb abuse from PAP is legendary. No point talking about justice with them. Just go with the flow and make hay while the sun shines.

Singkie just as screw up as the education system. It is legendery that they still sing high praises for the MIW. The conditioning by LKY has been very very successful to a point that Singkie lost the ability to reason.

My bet is this CB Kia will be replacing Shorty Mah at Tampines GRC.. Heng Swee Keat will anchor the PAP Tampines team in 2016 , Desmond will join the team as a replacement for the retiring Shorty Mah..

Workers Party must go to Tampines to contest for the next GE.. Enough of mickey mouse Oppo parties like SDA and NSP contesting there.. Harcore Oppos in Tampines would not hesitate to vote for any Oppo parties but its the fence sitters residing in the ward that gonna play an important part in deciding the winner..

the middle ground voters decide the winner everywhere. looking at results alone, the NSP did well in Tampines last election despite their confusing scattergun election approach, they won 43% votes, just 2% votes less than the WP East Coast great result of 45% votes.

Desmond isn't leading the team there. Mah will be out.

Heng Swee Keat is said to be rather affiliable and doing many changes to education against PAP norms. Winning Tampines the next time won't be easy. When Mah was there, HDB screwed up so badly and Mah was easy target, but someone missed a chance. The party of which he is no longer with can try Tampines again.
