On the other hand, WP MPs can always take the opportunity to tell the PAP to focus on how to make life better for the singaporeans, and there are grave issues to concern than to just picking on WP. And that WP certainly wish to debate on issues that can make life better for singaporeans. These words will win WP more votes .
There is a saying----a moment of patience in the moment of anger saves you hundred moments of regrets. True as it seems, you can be gentle on politicking but sometimes you must speak up real issues that really hurt. We cannot let the Singapore -people decide because half of the voters are not so educated, they cannot decide wisely either. Singaporean voters are not hongkongers or taiwanese.
Well, It takes a simple resident like Roy to speak up the heart about the CPF. Are we not ashamed if we have the platform and not using it ?
Yes, getting out comfort zone is too difficult but your party needs to expand , one GRC, two SMCs are never enough to make impact. How you win more GRCs if you continue to wobble along the way.
If we compare apple to apple, Singapore neither is a first world country, in fact, Singapore is third world among the first world countries, singaporeans are living in the fairy-tale thinking CPF is god.
I give an example---a pizza delivery boy earns $23 sin dollars an hour in Australia, let say perth. what do you think the same in Singapore?
We cannot wait till parliament becomes first-world then we start hearing real- ground issues debate, time is running out, you just need to speak up for the sake of the people if you want to change Singapore better for singaporeans.
You can better start off by telling the parliament that Temasek and GIC should put under Ministry of finance....well, and also propose another Govt-funded network that can help singaporeans retire comfortably......bring down the defence budget and there u are....... it means very well and most singaporeans will cheer you up......
so. please speak up real issues, real concerns, and start thinking not to give face to LHL anymore...singaporeans are lagging behind not to mention we dream of smart nation....a pipe dream good for a raucous laugh and we forget it after a coffee sip...
