I do hope and pray they wont announce more good news so fast... now the price is still affordable @ S$300+ PSF for freehold.. If it keeps shooting up to be on par with Singapore, we will all have to pay S$1500 psf which is 500% more.

RM 1400psf is only S$500+ and this price is the ultra premium units top floors. The construction is going steadily but surely.. heard the big boss is super selective about the material made and personally ensures the best quality and standard are met. One direct PA told me recently when I drop by Samsung Hub recently

NUSAJAYA 9 Dis. – Penubuhan Universiti Multimedia (MMU) di Nusajaya bakal menjadi pemangkin kepada pembangunan industri pembikinan filem tempatan supaya dapat berada setaraf dengan *Hollywood.
Kursus yang ditawarkan di kampus berkenaan ialah Program Seni Sinematik (CAP) dan MMU merupakan satu-satunya institusi pengajian* tinggi yang menawarkan kursus tersebut di negara ini.
Presiden MMU, Prof. Datuk Dr. Muhamad Rasat Muhamad berkata, pembukaan kampus baharu itu merupakan berita baik bukan sahaja kepada MMU, malah bagi industri kreatif di negara ini.
“Kampus MMU Nusajaya ini akan membuka lebih banyak peluang* kepada generasi muda tempatan melibatkan* diri dalam bidang industri* kreatif pada masa depan.
“Sukatan pelajaran menyeluruh dan lengkap bagi kursus tersebut adalah yang pertama di negara ini serta menggabungkan pembelajaran di Pinewood Iskandar Studios yang terletak berhampiran,” kata*nya semasa program lawatan media ke Kampus MMU Nusajaya, di sini baru-baru ini.
MMU menawarkan kursus sinematik* dan perfileman dengan pelbagai kemudahan terkini yang dibangunkan dengan kerjasama School of Cinematic Arts (SCA) di University of Southern California (USC), Amerika Syarikat.
Menerusi penubuhan MMU Nusajaya, secara tidak langsung Malaysia bakal menjadi tumpuan penuntut dari luar negara khusus*nya rantau ini yang mahu mengikuti kursus tersebut.
Muhamad Rasat yakin industri perfileman tempatan bakal mengalami* peningkatan positif dalam beberapa tahun akan datang dengan ada industri perfileman ala Hollywood mengikut acuan *tempatan.

Courses MMU cinematic catalyst Nusajaya local film industry - Campus - The Star Online
NUSAJAYA 9 December - Establishment of Multimedia University ( MMU ) in Nusajaya will be a catalyst for the development of the local film industry so as to be on par with Hollywood .
Courses offered at the campus were Cinematic Arts Program ( CAP ) and the MMU is the only institution of higher learning that offers courses in the country.
Its President, Prof. Datuk Dr. Trumsdorf Muhamad Muhamad said the opening of the new campus is good news not only to the MMU , even for the creative industries in the country.
" MMU ​​Campus Nusajaya will open up more opportunities for local young generation involved in the creative industries in the future .
" Thorough and comprehensive syllabus for the course is the first in this country , and combining learning at Pinewood Studios Iskandar close , " he said during a media tour of the campus program MMU Larkin, here recently .
MMU offers courses and cinematic film with many modern conveniences , developed in collaboration with the School of Cinematic Arts ( SCA ) at the University of Southern California ( USC ) , United States .
Through the establishment of MMU Larkin, indirectly Malaysia will be the focus of students from abroad , especially the region that want to follow such a course.

Bio-XCell reach agreement for Verdezyne’s first commercial scale facility

In Malaysia, Verdezyne and Bio-XCell Malaysia have reached an agreement to construct Verdezyne’s first commercial-scale renewable chemicals manufacturing facility in Bio-XCell’s premier biotechnology and ecosystem park in Nusajaya, Iskandar, in southern Malaysia. The multi-faceted agreement includes the 13-year, renewable lease of a 6.9-acre site, as well as a loan of approximately $75 million from Bio-XCell.

Construction is expected to commence in 2015, and the plant will be capable of producting up to 30 million pounds per year of diacids, including DDDA, and will be the world’s first bio-based plant for the production of DDDA.

Pinewood Malaysia prepares for sci-fi flick

PETALING JAYA: Preparations have started at Pinewood Malaysia Stu*dios for the filming of Lost In The Pacific, a 3D sci-fi action film headlined by American actor Brandon Routh (Superman Returns, Arrow) and Chinese actress Zhang Yuqi.

Although the main cast has not arrived in Malaysia yet, the film’s producers are said to be at Iskandar Johor ahead of the shooting.

According to The Hollywood Re**porter, the film will begin principal photography in the first quarter of the year and is set for release later this year.

Vincent Zhou, whose previous effort was last year’s Last Flight, is directing the film. IMDB.com lists Lost In The Pacific as Last Flight II.

According to Hollywoodreporter.com, the movie revolves around a group of passengers on board 2020’s inaugural luxury, transoceanic flight.

The site also quotes director Zhou as promising an adventure of “monumental proportions to audiences all over the world that will keep them on the edge of their seats”.
