22 people were injured on a Singapore Airlines (SIA) flight from Singapore to Mumbai on Saturday night including 14 crew members and 8 passengers.
Flight SQ424 hit some major turbulence.
All 22 injured people received medical attention once the plane landed. It is not known how serious their injuries were.
The plane was carrying 408 passengers and 25 crew members and the turbulence occurred just as the plane was making its decent into Mumbai.
A spokesperson from SIA explained that their immediate concern is for the well-being of those injured and they will also be providing full assistance to the authorities for their investigations.

The injuries are understood to have occurred at about 10:15pm on Saturday evening after the plane touched the runway twice.
At least 10 of the 14 injured crew members had to be hospitalised for a while but they have since been cleared and discharged.
All 8 passengers who were injured also have to be hospitalised and 2 of them still remain in hospital today.
