any good pap MP would have spoken out against bad policies.
To have immediate change, let's hope that he and his wife perish in a plane crash or he gets his fatal lymphoma relapse.
The other alternative is to drive him out of office by staging an Occupy Central.
By voting it's going to be quite difficult with so many new citizens already brought in by him.

The problem is not LHL per se, it is the PAP. Its philosophy does not put the sinkees' interest first.
How has development helped sinkees in the last 2 decades? We had great economic growth but who beneifitted? We saw minister's salary jumped to 7-figures, we saw healthcare cost rise meteorically, HDB flat jumped up to $450k while sinkees' take home pay stagnated.
The PAP needs to go for a better sinkapore. It will take at least a decade to undo the damage done by the PAP.

yes...that's why a policy must be balanced and take into account all stakeholders wellbeing. LHL is weird and problematic. He is totally pro business and doesn't factor in workers' wellbeing

i believe most of our problems started right around 2003 when LHL stepped into power.
