The Ministry of Manpower told the media on Thursday that it is currently investigating PRC ex-tour guide Yang Yin who is involved in the dispute over the $40 million assets of 87 year old widow, Mdm Chung Khin Chun.
While they explained that they are investigating, MOM declined to give any more details.
With MOM involved, Yang Yin is now being investigated by multiple government ministries on top of his legal battles against Mdm Chung and her family.
The Immigrations and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) is also investigating Yang for allegedly lying on his PR application and applying with a fake degree.
Separately, the Commercial Affairs Department is also looking into Yang for alleged criminal breach of trust in the way he handled Mdm Chung's assets.

Yang had moved into Mdm Chung's bungalow in 2009 after meeting her in China in 2008 while he was her tour guide when she visited on a holiday.
Since then, Yang is accused of having manipulated Mdm Chung for his own benefit.
