If reincarnation were real and people did have a choice in their next life's destination, these must be the worst picks of the lot:

1) A woman in India.

2) A dog in China.

3) A peasant-class Sinkie male in Singapore.

The Kovan murder suspect has been identified as one of Singapore police department's own police officers. Iskandar Rahmat, a 34-year-old officer of the law, is the lone suspect arrested in the Kovan murder which made national news, according to The Inquisitr on July 13, 2013. On Saturday 15 police officers combed the suspect's home for about four hours, leaving with bags of evidence.

Police found the body of Tan Boon Sing, 67, in his home. Sing's son, Tan Chee Heong, 42, was killed as he was dragged for almost a mile behind a car to the Kovan MRT station, where his body was dumped in this brutal Kovan murder.

The motive of this murder is not known at this time, but reports have the police officer suspect, Iskander Rahamat, suffering some “domestic personal matters” which have put him in debt, which may have played a role in the double Kovan murder.

Because of Rahmat's personal debt problems, he was already facing disciplinary actions at work. He was assigned to just administrative duties and this meant he could not carry a gun.

Rahmat was listed as a suspect in a thief report filed by Tan Chee Heong in November. While his relationship to Tan Chee Heong's father is unknown, the double Kovan murder could stem from this report filed by the younger victim.

After the murder, Rahmat fled on his scooter to Malaysia, but authorities picked him up there and he was extradited back to Singapore to face the Kovan murder charges.

Rahmat is a 14-year veteran of the police force, he was a senior staff police sergeant at the Bedok. 15 police officers went to the home of Rahmat Saturday afternoon and it took about 20 minutes for the occupants of the home to let the police in. The cops combed the home for evidence, leaving four hours later with bags of evidence.

Suspected dog abuser apologizes after online manhunt

China Daily, September 23, 2014

Pictures and videos of a dog tied to the rear of a car being dragged along a road to near death have prompted an outcry on Chinese social media, and a vehement manhunt for the driver by Web users has resulted in his confession and apology on local television.

The images and videos were first uploaded by witnesses to Sina Weibo, a popular microblogging site, on Saturday and quickly went viral. They showed a dog tied by a chain to the back of a car on a busy road in Shantou, South China's Guangdong province. Unable to keep pace with the car, the dog is being dragged behind it, and its hind legs appear to be bleeding.

Witness accounts said the dog had severe injuries to all limbs but was still alive after the dragging ended. The driver, identified only by his surname Zheng, said he threw the dog into roadside bushes after stopping the car.

The incident sparked a manhunt for the driver, and the car plate number clearly seen in the pictures facilitated the process. Soon the man's name, address and telephone number were shared on Sina Weibo.

The driver appeared on a Shantou Television news program on Monday admitting responsibility for the incident.

He said the dog is a watchdog at his factory, and that he has always wanted to get rid of the animal because it kept biting people, but could not bring himself to kill it with his own hands.

"I couldn't see the dog in my rear-view mirror so I wasn't aware that it was bleeding badly," Zheng said when making a public apology.

He added that he had only received primary school education, so he had not expected his behavior would trigger such public anger and disgust.

"I apologize for my actions and hope Sina Weibo users would not to reveal or share any more of my personal information," said the man.
