SINGAPORE - A 35-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of spray-painting a police camera installed at a block of flats at Kim Tian Road.

Officers on patrol there found the camera covered in paint on July 24. Investigations and ground enquiries led to the arrest of the suspect at Kim Tian Road in Tiong Bahru later that day.

A can of spray paint found in the suspect's possession was seized.

The man is expected to be charged with vandalism in the State Courts on July 25. He could face a fine of up to $2,000 or to up to three years in jail. He could also be given between three and eight strokes of the cane.
