SINGAPORE - Police have arrested four males, aged 15 to 16, believed to have stolen motorcycles.

A motorcyclist and his pillion evaded police checks along Upper Cross Street on July 23, at around 3.15am, and fled on foot after abandoning the motorcycle.

Police checks revealed that the abandoned motorcycle had been reported as stolen from Telok Blangah Crescent on July 22.

Following an operation, the first suspect was arrested at Upper Cross Street on July 23 at about 4.30pm, while the remaining three suspects were arrested at Telok Blangah Crescent and Jalan Bukit Ho Swee at about 5pm on the same day.

Investigations against the four suspects are ongoing to establish their involvement in other cases of motorcycle theft.
