Egg or no egg I don't know but this I can tell you - those days I work offshore island got to take boat from Pasir Panjang I used to have morning hainam curry rice at the Pasir Panjang hawker centre at about 6.30am, every morning you can see a group of men around 40-60 years old wearing ah-peh bermudas and white t-shirts each one carry a big cloth and a big steel hook, you immediately know they are coolies from the big warehouse behind the hawker centre, each one will order a big bottle of Guinness Extra Stout with their rice, yes for breakfast. Was told that they need the stout for power to carry heavy stuff. Lunch they do the same.

Stout and Eggs

Here’s a cool one for you..try Guinness Stout with a raw egg. I first heard of this in the Caribbean where it is reportedly a natural viagra. It’s popular especially in Jamaica.

However, a quick google search will show you that many cultures around the world drink Guinness with a raw egg in it. I have some ideas concerning why there would be such virility enhancing effects of this drink.

First, the real stuff is infused with Nitrogen to create the distinct head. When I hear nitrogen, I automatically think there must be some kind of nitric oxide related connection. Then of course is the alcohol content that helps boost circulation.

Anything that boosts circulation is usually linked to enhancing nitric oxide. Last, the raw egg is full of choline and lecithin. Legend has it that Casanova frequently dined on raw eggs and oysters to enhance his prowess.

just tried it btw.

I poured in the guiness with the egg and the yolk drank it, didn't taste the egg at all. A bit harder to swallow when reached the yolk but nothing at all. When the guiness was mixed with the egg and yolk it was just black.
