NSF who molested woman sentenced to 30 months jail and three strokes of the cane

SINGAPORE - A full-time national serviceman (NSF) who molested a woman was jailed for 30 months and ordered to be given three strokes of the cane on Wednesday.
Radin Rizwan Radin Rosman, 22, who faced three charges, admitted to groping the 25-year-old freelance graphic designer whom he restrained by using his weight to pin her down along a pathway in the West Coast area on March 17 this year.
The victim was sent to hospital where she was treated for bruising, superficial abrasions over her elbows and a small 2cm abrasion over her chest area.
Radin had a molestation and a dishonest misappropriation of a bicycle charge taken into consideration. He could have been jailed for up to 10 years on the proceeded charge.
