Man arrested for committing obscene act in public

SINGAPORE - A 27-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly performing an obscene act in public at Jurong West Street 91.
Police wrote in a statement that they received a call yesterday evening at 7pm from a 22-year-old female victim. She stated that a male subject was believed to have committed an obscene act.
Police officers responded to the incident and arrested the suspect.
Through interviews, the officers maanged to estalish that the suspect was believed to have also committed another similar offence against another victim.
The suspect will be charged in court for the two offences tomorrow.
Anyone who is found guilty of performing any obscene act in a public place faces a jail term of up to three months, or a fine, or both.
