It is usually a combination of both but never a valid excuse. That young lady needs to be punished severely.

There should have been some bad blood between the two neighbours. If not how come there is the CCTV installed.

In any case, it is lucky that there was a recording and it was publicised by the media, if not, the victim may be told to go fark off.

If there is only one sentence - death penalty - for all crimes, crime will be reduced to insignificance. That's if you believe the deterrence works.
