PAP s short sighted short cuts has led us to dire straits....

Good leaders with vision think long term and avoid short term
strategies that leads to intractable problems in the long term. Falling to do so shows a lack of depth, wisdom,
and leadership skills of those on top. We are not talking now about the benefit of hind sight but the application of foresight to avert severe problems that's will plague our nation in the long run.

Quick results does not last... and in all spheres shortsighted
approach was used to to get quick results. The shallow ideological approach and the
tendency to follow global trends almost blindly... George Yeo famously said they just have
to go with the flow. That really is not good leadership.

I will now cite examples to illustrate how short term quick results has lead to so many problems for Singapore

1. GDP growth by importing labor. Instead of
fostering productivity creativity and innovativeness
theysimply imported more pple to generate GDP growth
this shortsighted approach has led to countless problems ultimately resulting in

Decline in quality of life for most Singaporeans as overcrowding becomes a major issue.
This approach is not sustainable and will saturate the island to a point that land resource runs out or becomes to scarce

2. Modification of election scheme with GRC and upgrading pork barrel just to dominate the pple politically.
Instead of winning vote by formulating policies that's are right and just for the people's
to win their trust and support , ,the PAP uses upgrading dangled as a carrot to 'force'support
From the people. This disstorts the value system
of the people from thinking of right and wrong but focus them to vote based on nerd to upgrade.
This is not only morally wrong, it is illegal in many countries

3. Control of information and propaganda.
Instead of trusting the people, the pap tries to control them by feeding them
with one sided views and limiting their access to information through secrecy
laws. They do this to create an obedient,

Singapore is now a international revolving door hotel. FT come here and make their pile and go home. Locals will be left behind as their salaries will be depressed by FT wages, too old compared to FT, and become 2nd class citizens in their own country!

without foreigner work, u think u can doing such long story posting? Most probably u still working at the construction site or as a factory operator or maybe a bus conductor.

U everyday posting thread against Government, u are the most propaganda in all social forum.

The sad thing is... there are still Singaporeans who BELIEVE that pappies can... and are still.. doing a good job... some are ppl who have gotten filthy rich via either working with the govt.. or indirectly in some other means.. or.. using the loopholes they saw to exploit..

Some.. sadly.. are those lowly educated.. and older (in their 60s or 70s).. those who get free meals everyday.. and get SOME medical assistance.. and cos these folks don't have much to fall back on.. either no children.. or not enough savings.. they think these jestures from pappies are damn fantastic.

A lot of middle class Singaporeans have woken up.. and more are in the process of waking up.. but i fear the younger generation are still in limbo... still clueless.. still enjoying themselves.. not realizing that their own country.. is being overrun by foreign trash.

By the time they realize it.. they might be in their early 30s.. and possibly without a job.. and finding it hard to get one.

Will it be too late then? I hope not.. but pappies are trying to turn.. from recent measures.. they seem to have realized that more foreigners will not help their vote averages in GEs. And possibly.. new citizens are not staying.. as they see the situation of overcrowding of foreigners.. and decide to do a U-turn and head back home.

Whatever it is.. pappies are facing a losing situation.. as they have alienated TOO MANY Singaporeans. With their arrogance and unbashful cockiness.. they have said many things in the past.. then have turned around and sung a different tune.

Who was it that said that HDB flats would never be opened to singles?? Now see what happens? Over-subscrbed.. so many Singaporeans are going for the BTOs that have just been released for SINGLEs.. how to check if these are really singles?

Nevermind.. the ppl are already unhappy.. cos.. too much demand.. too little supply.. HDB gonna get scolded..

The move to get employers to consider Singaproeans first for jobs.. before hiring foreigners... is not a law.. and as such.. what penalty do the employers face? Who can guarantee the employers won't play play and still screw Singaporeans upside down?

Pappies are trying to do things... but because they don't trust the people.. they just do halfway.. or half-heartedly.. and as such.. will yield less than average results.

Time for change... useless people should NEVER be allowed to help run the country for the entire nation. The people must exercise their rights and demand RESULTS for the amount that pappies mps and ministers are getting... World class salaries.. but seem to perform sub-par.. in a real corporation.. directors and shareholders would have given them the sack LONG LONG TIME AGO!!
